Spent 7 nights at Centara Grand in October 2014, we had a fantastic time the staff were lovely always smiling, made freiends with the some of the girls on reception and they are great girls, stayed in a deluxe ocean view room, it was nice had a big balcony overlooking the grounds and the beach very relaxing. The Hotel is on the beach and its clean white sand it was beautiful, Breakfast needs to be looked at as it beacame very repetative and they need to have a better selection of Tea's.
I had a Body Scrub and massage in the Spa and it was fantastic costs a little more than outside but you cannot compare it was worth it.
Overall we had great holdiay and enjoyed our stay at Centara and will return next year.
First visit to to Ko Samui and was recommended this hotel by a family member. Excellent location along Chaweng beachfront with beach access directly from the hotel. A minimart right across the road which was very handy and just a few minutes walk (less than 5 mins) to Central Festival shopping mall which had all the modern restaurants, cafes and shops. A 400 baht taxi ride to/from the airport. Very pleasant staff and decent size rooms. We had two rooms side by side for parents and teens. The parents room had a connecting door but to the room on the opposite side to where the kids were. This made it trickier to share things like bug spray and toiletries but there were phones in the room so we made use of these to organise dinner etc. Overall a very pleasant stay.
We lived in 4 different hotels in Thailand during those 11 days. This is the only one set the room in honeymoon style as requested. We also requested the room in a warm colour and they managed it. We brought some traditional food from outside and they kindly heated them for us. The staff there they work to their best to make you feel comfortable, even better than home. I must take time writing these comments to thank those staff. They made the best ending of our vacation.
The hotel is super clean, and the decoration is simple but surprisingly attractive (much better than the pictures on the website). The room is large and smells fresh.
The location is in the walking distance to centre Chaweng and close to beach.

There is little doubt that the Library is one of the most professionally run hotels in Chaweng. The staff, the design and condition of the room and facilities, the innovation (most especially beds on the beach for breakfast) and the food is of the highest quality.

This is an absolutely beautiful hotel. Has many pro's like the location, friendly staff, great spa and on the beach.
We also got a few complimentary items with each meal we ordered which was a nice touch and much appreciated.
