Convenient stop in a nice hotel.
Good location in the centre of a lovely little town on way from UK to French Alps. Parking and breakfast both perfect.

Room was clean and good space but no safety box, no minibar neither tea/coffee sections. WC separate from washing basin and shower. Staff helpful but they don't speak English. Not recommended

Room was great and nice and big, but the restaurant wasn’t open and the secure car park has a height limit of 2.1m and the entrance to it is very very tight (too tight to get in in a family car easily - but there was road parking nearby)

Great stop over
We were doing a journey of in total 20 hours, Chaumont was half way. We were so impressed from the moment we parked our car in the secure underground car park.costs €10 but worth every penny. Reception staff very welcoming and environment very clean and well laid out. We have a large dog and they were very accommodating. Beds very comfortable, lovely view of the town. Restaurant food was good and reasonably priced. Breakfast was included and had a great continental selection of good quality foods. Would definitely recommend and will be making this hotel a regular stop.

They did not have a reservation for me and even though I showed the my Expedia confirmation email and reservation number, i had to pay again !!! Whether Expedia or the Hotel is at fault needs be figured out and make me whole forthwith! This cannot stand.

Very disappointed to find the restaurant was shut and not to have been notified before hand. Equally disappointed that the hotel website had shown there was a bar. We could not find this bar. The reason we had chosen this hotel was the location and the restaurant/bar. Although im a frequent traveller I have not stayed at an ibis style before but I have used your competitors whose websites are much more honest than yours. I often stay at other Accor hotels and I feel let down by the ibis style. I look forward to hearing from you as to why we weren’t advised about the shut restaurant and why a bar is advertised. We were so pleasantly surprised by this hotel. Used it as a stopover and it was fab! Modern, clean, light with great decor and good room size. Underground secure parking too!

Good 1 night option for long distance travellers.
Very handily located for the town centre. Quick, no-fuss check-in, and quick check-out. Satisfactory overall value-for-money. Helpful staff. Good car parking on site: reasonably priced. Excellent restaurant without frills, but with an adequately varied menu; as in the overall sense, mentioned above, the restaurant itself was optimally priced.

Well located Hotel
Tend to use this Hotel as a stopover on the way back to Calais from Southern France. It is centrally located and once the car is parked you can walk and explore.Chaumont is a lovely typical French town and has quite a few shops,bars etc. Staff are always very friendly and helpful,rooms are always spotless and the beds extremely comfortable. We eat in the Hotel restaurant in the evening,menu has improved but service still not great! All in all I would highly recommend the Hotel ideal for a stopover or short stay.

Good comforting hotel with pleasant efficient staff . Very conveniently situation for us and we are happy to stay over there for a night or a couple of nights, Decently priced restaurants in town where food is good!

Lovely little hotel
Great hotel, lovely and clean. Very comfortable rooms but a bit hot overnight. Didn't like the pillow either but cant fault anything else in the room. Breakfast was fine we were a bit late down so wasn't loads left but there was enough. Getting into the garage was very tight for large car,didn't think we were going to get through the narrow entry. Nice town. Found nice little restaurant just down the road

Hotel turned out to be an excellent choice for an overnight stay ! Good central location with secure parking. The room was quiet despite overlooking the front. Adequate inclusive breakfast. Would recommend .

Great Stay
On route to Switzerland, this is our Hotel of choice, having stayed before. Excellent service and clean, comfortable and quiet room. Good choice of breakfast. Underground parking. Great shower with plenty of space and separate WC. Only drawback: One chair only and was uncomfortable. Would also like an upgrade of toilet paper. We'll def stay again.

Modern, clean hotel with friendly staff.
The hotel was very clean and well presented with a modern feel inside. The staff were very friendly and happy to speak English when our French was not up to the task. The breakfast was good and the location of the hotel in Chaumont made it very convenient for finding somewhere to eat for an evening meal. The hotel itself had a restaurant which also looked very nice. The hotel car park was very convenient for a small extra charge. The only negative comment I could make is regarding our initial entry to the hotel. The door to the hotel was shut with a key code pad to gain entry. When I pressed the button for assistance there was no response. It seemed that the reception was not manned at the time we arrived (about 6.30pm on an August Saturday). A waitress who was outside setting tables eventually let us in via a different door through the restaurant to get to reception. I think if she had not been there we would have got someone's attention eventually but there may have been a few minutes' wait.

Reservation was exactly what I had made and expected. Extremely clean and efficient. Staff was friendly, courteous and helpful. Facilities were more than adequate for my needs. Breakfast was varied and wonderful and provided plenty to eat and drink. The restaurant was clean, efficient, and the staff were great.

Nice location, will be better after work finished.
A good location in a nice town, central position and easy to reach from highway. At present there is extensive building work under way, but they do not start work very early. The modifications will greatly improve the hotel.

Family Visit to Chaumount
My wife and I stayed at eh Hotel de France. The rooms were very big much like the American rooms. The rooms were very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The view over the main street of down town Chaumont was charming. We highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay with them again.
