“Nice hotel”

Likes: a) Large counter in bathroom b) Fairly large room c) Large desk d) Clean e) Convenient location Dislikes: a) Weird armoire-(large area where they put extra pillows, but not sure what else it would be used for??? It has 4 tiny drawers) b) Not much in the hotel for cup of coffee in the morning. There is a coffee shop attached to the building that is accessible from the exterior, but is closed on weekends. c) The shower head either doesn't give you much water, or it comes out like a thousand little needles d) Was able to hear the water running through the pipes from the adjacent rooms.

“Nice stay”

Hotel convenient to take trolley to riverfront area. Great atmosphere and comfy rooms. Enjoyed our visit to Chattanooga.....great downtown. Don't miss the aquarium and be sure to rent a Stand up paddleboard from L2 Boards on Market Street!

“Dont know yet we will go back”

This was my 2 time stayed. First time back in March it was very nice clean . So we went back last week. But it was very dispoiment room was very dirty We ckeck in thursday it was o.k. friday I think maid foget to clean bathroom. Hair was all over floor and bathtub

“Excellent choice.”

I was recently at the Chattanoogan while several conference goers spent time at the Choo-Choo, and needless to say, I was much happier. Clean, quiet and spacious.

“Expected more for the money,”

It was very difficult finding the entrance. Need a sign on the corner of Broad. For the price, I've stayed in nicer hotels. The Sunday Brunch was very pricey for the food provided. I would not eat at the brunch again. Their picture on the website didn't quite match up.

“UTC Mom”

Our son is attending UTC in the fall. We spent his orientation weekend at the Chattanoogan and it was wonderful. We have already made our reservations to come back again when we move our son to school in the fall. One item on the wish list for our room...I was disappointed that the room did not have a mini-fridge. Not a big deal, but I like to keep some cold drinks in the room. Other than that, it was great! Food and service were great!

“Would go back again”

Overall very good. Main complaint is maids were very pushy to clean room even though we told them hourly that we were checking out at 11 AM.

Area recommendations
The river front.
Dining
Try Aretha Frankenstein for breakfast; Easy Bistro for lunch; Mount Vernon for dinner.

“Would recommend, but...”

The hotel is beautiful. However, the room service was horrible. They not only took a long time to bring the food to the room, but they also forgot to give me cream for my coffee on two separate occasions. They also didn't give me utensils or plates when my mother and I ordered individual pizzas. They also didn't have small bottled water available, but only the larger size. This is unacceptable for a hotel of this caliber. Their room service needs major improvement.

Area recommendations
Chatanooga. It has the most tourist attractions.

“Mixed review”

The hotel was clean and nice. However, arrived on Monday and was told they didn't have my reservation starting until Wednesday. Fortunately, I had my expedia confirmation. Hotel was sold out and I was told I had to wait an hour and a half to check in. Front desk attendant was supposed to call me when my room was ready. Never herd from anyone. I was traveling with 3 children. Television was out almost the entire first day we were there. I was told it was because it was raining, even though the rest of the hotel had tv. Ordered dinner for my children and the fries were so hard you couldn't even bite them. So nice, clean hotel - poor service, horrible food, probably wouldn't go back.
