We stayed here for 3 nights while visiting the painted caves of the Dordogne Valley. The rooms were very comfortable and the park-like grounds of the hotel were beautiful. We had dinner here on the first night and whilst being rather espensive it was a delicious meal. There is so much to do and see in this area of France we would have liked to have stayed longer.

Stayed here before, five or six years ago, and chose it again because it has parking outside or garage parking for 13eu a night. No restaurant, but that is not a problem as so many good place to eat in the town. Staff very friendly and always there to help. Would recommend to anyone as standard is absolutely excellent.

I absolutely loved staying here. My only suggestion, add a fan in the rooms. They get very hot at night, and if you are in one of the front rooms, it's hard to keep the windows open at night because of the noise from the street. I think it was a great value for the price, and do make plans to dine at the restaurant, it was superb.
Room was very clean and has nice decor. Shame there is no A/C as needed to open window because of heat and the road outside is quite noisy. Found staff to be very helpful. The hotel is in a good location and felt id was good value for money.
hotel is actually on a fast country road and traffic is noisy.
rooms on road side are noisy but if keep double glazed door closed it is ok.at night not a problem.nice view from balcony.
restaurant is good.owner is the cook. it is lovely.

internet was fast!
inexpensive room rate!
This hotel has been around for many years, but has wonderful grounds just a mile or so from Lascaux, the prehistoric cave site. The room was very large with a great bed and bathroom, but the table and the chifforobe in the room were getting on in years. The hotel building is getting old and in a few years is going to need some renovation. The receptionists were absolutely wonderful, helpful and pleasant. The breakfast was good, but a bit expensive. The hotel had two restaurants, a fancy one and a moderate one. But the most striking thing about the hotel was the back grounds. I walked around the pool and strolled the footpaths enjoying the back yard greatly. There is a private car park that you get into with a passcode. This is very helpful as parking on the streets is problematic.
