Room service only came by once during a 4 day stay, and we had issues with the tv that were unresolved despite staff saying they would take care of it. Other than that the room was very clean in a convenient location and check in and check out were easy.

I thought the room was very nice and clean. The staff were a little rude at times, but other than that everything else was pretty good. It was just never quiet which made it hard to sleep.

When you first come to the hotel, please do not get put off. It is an older hotel...however, the rooms are updated! And they are CLEAN. Literally the cleanest hotel room I have been in, so kudos to the staff for keeping those that way. The ONLY downfall I have about it is that the walls are super thin. You can literally hear everything, but the hotel offsets this by giving you ear plugs which was great. The breakfast was the normal hotel breakfast, muffins, bagels, waffles, OJ, coffee, etc. The staff was incredible. And it's in a great location. We'll no doubt stay again if we have another job in the area.

This hotel is very clean. Everything (fridge,HVAC, hot water, etc) was in good working order. My only complaint was the maid service failed to replace the towels, coffee and tissues.

We requested a first floor room due to my husband’s disability, a heart condition at age 85, we we’re told by a lady who answered the phone, that if we waited to check in until later in the day, she could guarantee a first floor room. At 4 Pm we arrived at Red Roof Inn in Charlottesville and were given a second floor room about as far from the elevator as possible. No explanation & no apology. Just that every 1st floor room was taken. Your staff is not true to their word. Never again will we stay at Red Roof Inn.

I’ll start by saying I have stayed here a few times and never had an issue. Last night, after a football game we check in. We get into the room and we get under the covers. There were hairs ALLLLL in the bed. Not one or two. MANY. We immediately call the front desk, where they say there is no maid to change the sheets. Either we can change it ourselves or leave and get a refund. In the middle of the night on a game day, there is nowhere for us to go!! After looking further, there’s black stains on the sheets and pillows. Also, burn holes in the bedding as well. Additionally, burn holes in the chair and black hairs all around the sink. Clearly our room had never been cleaned. Due to it being game day, there was no other rooms to be switched to at this hotel. There were no rooms within an hour’s drive and this was the middle of the night. Truly a horrific and disgusting experience. For $230 a night…this is a crime!!!!!!

The parking lot is extremely small and compact. There was a power outage during our stay and thus no hot water. No emergency lighting. Staff was helpful and friendly.
