“Great hotel and very good location”

If you just want to stay in the downtown area this is a very good hotel. You can walk to everything and the free shuttle bus stop is just outside, if you want to pop un to the university. Overall, very good value for money.

“a great place to stay”

I attended a wedding & needed a place to stay for one night.....it was everything i had hoped for. I had a great view from my room, everything was clean & spotless & brand new! everyone was so friendly & helpful & very professional......complimentary starbucks coffee in the lobby in the morning.....the pool was awesome....only wish i had more time to stay because there was so much to do there & in the area--the gym looked really great too. the adjoining pedestrian mall was a huge plus as well- had a great lunch at hamilton's. can't wait to go back to charlottesville one day!

“Wonderful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

It was a wonderful experience. The hotel was beautiful, and the staff was very very friendly and always helpful. It was my birthday, they sent a big piece of cake, chocolate covered strawberries, and champagne to my room. I loved the sauna. It is small and cozy as well as gender segregated. I had it to myself, it was great. The room service food was delicious. The adjacent pedestrian mall is charming. When I read in a review that the bathrooms were small, I thought I would be disappointed. Yes, they are small, but elegant. I could go on and on.. but above all, the friendliness and efficiency of the staff is what made my stay so great.

“Omni Hotel in Charlottesville scored high across the board”

Great service and staff throughout stay, including business and conference service responses "on the fly" were handled with ease quickly. Food quality in the restaurant was great compared to many 4/5 star hotels including some dinner specials that beat local crusine. Step outside the rear and you are right on the downtown open mall with easy access to drug stores, restaurants, coffee shops, etc. Next door also to the federal court house.

“good hotel - excellent location”

We normally only stay in 4 / 5 star hotels overseas to ensure we are not disappointed. The Omni is a good 4 star in our book.It sits right at the top of the pedestrian only high street so you just step out the front door into a myriad of shops / retaurants. The High sreet is lively at night and we enjoyed having our dinner outside one of the retaurants watching the world go by.

“Best Location in Town”

We drove by many of the other Charlottesville and this one is by far the best located. Hotel is a bit older, but it's in good shape and the room was nice. Easy walking distance (literally out the door) to Main St. and a ton of places to eat and shop. One small problem was the elevator malfunctioned, but the hotel had someone staff the elevator to reduce inconvenience. Free parking was nice as well. Definitely would recommend and go back. It's worth the premium price for the convenience.
