Although the carpet and furniture were well worn from a long UVA Football season the hotel provided a comfortable nights rest. Price was reasonable for the area and it was easy to get to the sites we wanted to visit.
Area recommendations
We really enjoyed having dinner at 4th Street. Food and service were excellent. It was just five traffic lights north of the hotel and a few blocks down to reach the parking garage. Then to blocke notrth of the garage for a great meal.

“GOOD FOR THE MONEY”
We went and stayed the night and it was a good spacious room with a comfortable bed. The only thing the room didn't have was a microwave, which if I was staying longer than one night , it would have been something I would have missed. The staff were nice and let us know where all the good eats were . Did not eat at the restaurant in the hotel, but did go have a drink in the lounge. Was not a single person in the restaurant and we were the only ones in the lounge. Was clean and the drinks were good. If they want more business in the restaurant, they need to offer breakfast as part of the room packages.
Area recommendations
Not much in the neighborhood, however the hotel is close to many restaurants (have to drive about 10 minutes) and places to shop.

“Decent Hotel”
Decent hotel very close to I-64 and Downtown Charlottesville. Beds were very comfortable. Was not sure what to expect booking this on-line site unseen, but was pleasantly surprised when we checked in. Nice hotel for a stay of a night or two.

“Will stay again.”
Close to the activities of Charlottesville, I enjoyed my stay. Yes, it is on the highway and a room on the backside could be noisey, but the hotel was very clean, had appropriate ammenities, was a GREAT deal for the price,close to some food venues and even a drug store and grocery store.

“Clean and comfortable”
Staff was friendly, room was clean, beds were comfortable. The location is great for visiting Monticello, Ash Lawn Highland, UVA. Will return if we are traveling back to Charlottesville in the near future.

“Definitely met our needs”
The location of this hotel was perfect for a weekend in Charlottesville to see the city and tour a few wineries. The people at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. The bed linens were clean with the exception of a few odd stains on the cover blankets. Overall, a pleasant stay.

“Visiting for family weekend at UVA”
I went over the weekend to visit my sister in UVA and this hotel was perfect for it. It's about 7 minutes away from the grounds of UVA, the staff is extremely nice and helpful, they helped me get a cab and when I had problems with the bathroom light they prometely fixed it. It's conveniently located just off the highway and it's close to all the shopping and sightseeing in Charlottesville. It's obviously not a five star hotel, but I would gladly go back.
Getting there
Watch out for this hotel when you take exit 120 on I-64. After you make a left on the light, it's going to be on your right.

“Good for the Price”
it was a very nice stay for 1 night. I don't think I would want to stay there for an extended weekend but for 1 night it was good. It was close to Monticello & to the Downtown area for dinning & to UVA campus.

“Close to Historical Philly”
Hotel is reasonably close to the old historical partof Philly and is reasonable value fr money. The surrounding area does not look great but we did not encounter any issues. The rooms are clean and an on site laundry was useful given we were on along vacation.
