“Not too bad”

Not a bad hotel, but we were placed right near the exit and therefor heard the door opening and closing all night. The place was almost empty , so why we're we placed there!? So annoying!!

“No Elevator only stay on the first floor”

No elevator is a big downfall. Very good to great otherwise.

“Basic room, good location”

Overall the hotel was fine. We chose it for its proximity to UVa and Monticello. Hotel design is not ideal - long corridors, no elevator. The room was clean, nice flat screen tv, comfortable beds. The heat and air system was very noisy - enough to wake you up when it kicks on. The breakfast was as expected for this level hotel - slow to refill items that ran out.

“Good Value for Monticello”

We stayed at this hotel en route to Monticello. For the money, it is very good value. The room was clean, spacious. The breakfast was much better than some other hotels in the same price range. Close to Monticello which was great. Overall, very good value for money and we enjoyed our stay.

“Just ok”

Nice enough but no more. Had a slightly worn quality but clean. Also seemed a little empty.

“Ok for short stay”

Overall, the experience was good. The hotel was convenient to UVA ,the staff was very friendly and room was clean. The breakfast was pretty good Avoid the rooms near the exits at all cost very noisy. We could have asked for another room but didnt too tired after long trip. Would recommend hotel for short stay.

Area recommendations

Downtown Charlottesville is has many restaurants and bars. Monticello is (Jefferson's Home) is a must. The views and scenery are beautiful

“keep looking”

When we got to our room there was long hairs on the floor in our bathroom and the carpeting in our room needed to be stretched out as it had "ruts" in it. Considering that we paid a higher rate for this I would have assumed that the rooms would have been well maintained.The next time I head to Charlottesville I will look elsewhere.

“Good place to stay in need of quick stop”

The rooms have very thin walls as reported by someone else. But, for a late nighter and early riser not too many problems with noise. Pleasantly surprised by nice big flat screen television. I would stay there again with no problem.
