Everything at this hotel is exceptional! It's a boutique hotel without the attitude. The staff are super friendly and helpful (we received great restaurant and bar recommendations). The lobby is a fun place to relax, grab a coffee or hangout in one of their extra large hammocks. The roof top restaurant and bar is also worth having a meal or drink with sweeping 360 degree views of Berlin and the zoo. We had lunch at Neni, which serves delicious Israeli food. For two people, sharing a few small portion plates was more than enough. We stayed in one of their Jungle M rooms with a hammock. Our view was into the monkey cages at the zoo. Believe me, it's a wonderful feeling swinging back and forth and lulling yourself to sleep. BTW - open your window in the early morning so you can hear the animals waking up and talking to each other. We also checked out the sauna which has floor to ceiling windows and views into the zoo. All in all, I would live there if I could and the room price was certainly affordable.
Found the staff to be efficient and helpful.Breakfast set you up for the day with a good selection and choice that would have satisfied everyone.Decent location with trains/buses 5 mins away.plenty of restaurants close by with good Italians 100 metres away and Lidl even closer.
Cons- Shower could have been bigger as rather cramped although it looked like rooms around ours being upgraded.
For the price I paid would go back.
This hotel was excellent. Our room was of a very high standard and the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was perfectly situated nearby the Zoo, Tiergarten and the memorial church. There are a number of lovely shops including the famous KaDeWe Department Store and restaurants within walking distance. Also, there are a number of subway stations within easy reach to visit all the amazing sights of Berlin.
"Adequate hotel, internet works but could be faster"
Everything fine, reasonable location, lots of shops near by, quite close to the metro.
Make you leave the keys when you leave which is a bit weird (presumably to enforce differential pricing for different numbers of people in each room)
Located west of the city centre, Charlottenburg is a smart residential district home to the Charlottenburg Palace, Deutsche Oper Berlin, the Olympic Stadium and the capitalist dreams of the Kurfürstendamm. In the former centre of West Berlin, now the Europa Centre, stands the ruined Kaiser Wilhelm Church. The famous avenue Ku'damm houses the Story of Berlin Museum and flagship stores for designer brands.
