“awesome experience”

Because of the low price I expected a low rate hotel . Sorry for thinking that . The night clerk was awesome and most helpful.Room was great as was area in which hotel was located . I was very pleased . .

“Great Budget Hotel!!!”

We stayed for business and were quite pleased. The staff was wonderfully friendly and the place is very quite. Being right off from the interstate, it was easy to find our way around. The hotel was a little bit older, but the rooms were very nicely renovated and very well kept!

“Great bargain, great location near airport...”

We were pleasantly surprised by how nice this "economy" motel was. They had a very good variety of items for the continental breakfast, though short of the "eggs," sausage, etc. that Sleep Inns seemed to offer. we did appreciate the bananas that we used for our breakfast cereal. The only drawback was that there really wasn't any eating areas conveniently (read that--within walking distance of the motel) located. The motel staff, however, did provide a very complete and accurate listing of local eateries with distance/location.

“very clean and quiet”

While others spent the big bucks to stay at the fancy hotels the night before the American Idol concert, we opted for Motel 8 and were not let down. It was convenient, affordable, and ridiculously clean. My only complaint is that the desk clerk seemed a little rude when we checked in. I felt like she was already accusing us of violating their no pets/no visitors policy. But she was nice when we checked out and our stay was just fine.

“Good for price”

All in all a nice stay for the price. Hotel was clean and service good. Only complaint is the pool is seasonal and that is not mentioned on the web site. I think this should be mentioned.

“Stay at Super 8 In Charlotte”

We were very happy, quick check in, clean room, good location near the venue we were going to for a show, ample parking, close to interstate. Drink machines were locked in fence and not accessable, Deposit to get phone turned on in the room. Older but nice hotel. Would stay again, for just a simple over night stay.

“Great hotel - a little out of the way”

The service and the room were great. A good place to stay for the price. Although it is called Super 8 Downtown, it is not exactly downtown. There is a bus stop nearby though, about a 15 minute ride into the downtown area.

“okay for the money”

decent for the money. clean. did not 'appear' to be in the safest part of charlotte. not within walking distance of anything. fine if you just need a place to sleep. very close to I77.

“A nice place to stay to save money”

I had a comfortable and nice stay. The only problem is being able to hear the person next door.
