“Great Room; Mediocre Service; Lousy Buffet”
Had a 2 bedroom suite with 2 full bathrooms, kitchenette, living room. Rooms were very clean and beds were very comfortable. Plenty of towels, pillows, sheets, blankets.
Few Disappointments: No ice maker in hotel. We bought drinks from local store & needed ice. Front desk informed us there were no ice machines in the hotel & we had to use the tray in our freezer to make our own (that would've been fine if we wanted a cold drink in like, 4 hours!).
Breakfast Buffet - very small in comparison to other Suite Hotels. Seating was extremely limited; lobby area very small. Food Selection was limited & items not replenished as frequently as should have been. One of the employees working the buffet was not very friendly or polite. In fact, she seemed bothered when I asked a question. In addition, there was a tour group that arrived as we entered the buffet area. We were honestly almost knocked to the ground by these scavengers that behaved as if they've never seen food before. Really people?? Elbow a 3 year old to get the last bagel??? We took our pathetic breakfast back to the room to escape the zoo-like atmosphere.
Front Desk - check in/out was smooth and easy, but the employees were somewhat aloof. I was told that I didn't need a receipt when I asked for one, upon check out. Will check statement to ensure I wasn't double charged.
Overall-room very nice; service average. Hotel good for overnight stay; not a "destination" vacation; suited our purposes.
