Nice hotel very convenent to South Park Mall and the southside of Charlotte

“Very nice hotel”

Hotel was near great shopping and restaurants. Room was spacious, well equipped, very clean, bed was comfortable. Some things I didn't like: overpriced internet in room, noise from hall was very loud and I felt like people in the hall could hear me/my TV. Overall a positive experience with a few minor glitches.

Area recommendations

Uptown (Charlotte's downtown area) - lots of great restaurants, hotels, and nightlife.

“Close but ...”

When we arrived at our hotel, we found that the roll away bed we requested (and lead to believe would be there) was not allowed due to fire codes. Would have been helpfull to know that prior to arrival.

“Great stay”

Bed was very comfortable. When the TV remote's batteries died, they sent someone up to replace them within minutes. No complaints.

“Would definitely stay there again!”

I never write reviews from my travels, however, I was very happy and impressed with the service I received from everyone at this hotel. From the moment we entered the lobby until the time we checked out we were treated with courtesy, friendliness and respect. As soon as we walked through the door everyone was very friendly and welcomed us to the hotel. Check in was fast and easy and the room was spacious and very comfortable. Our requests were also handled quickly and with courtesy. It was very convenient to the shopping mall and there were several restaurants in the area. Our stay included the breakfast buffet which was excellent and even the hostess and waitress there were very accommodating and welcoming. I had a wonderful stay and would definitely stay there the next time I am in the area.

“Very nice!”

I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Easy check-in/ check out. Great shopping and dining options! Right across from mall and three excellent restaurants right out the back door of the hotel. Easy 20 min. direct drive to airport.

“Marriott Southpark-Rexford Road in Charlotte”

I plan to stay at this hotel on all future stays in Charlotte. This hotel is 5 star quality. Located in safe, quiet, convenient location. Staff from the front desk, restaurant, room service and housekeeping all performed efficiently and always helpful and friendly. Hotel is very well kept, high quality, tasteful furnishings. Beds/bedding extremely comfortable They have thought of everything to make a weary traveler comfortable and I have not had a more pleasant hotel stay in many years. Job well done Marriott Southpark Charlotte!

Southpark area where this hotel is located. It is across from the beautiful Southpark Mall but o close enough to be bothered by noise or traffic. Easy access to highway Plenty of places to eat/drink/shop within walking distance
