This was a great vacation! The Marriot Frenchman Reef hotel is a beautiful resort to escape the winter. The views are breathtaking everywhere you go. The pool facilities are great overlooking Charlotte Amelie and the ocean. The beach is perfect with great amenities for all. Chairs and umbrellas were plentiful. This resort has everything..For those having trouble with the steps to the beach, the shuttle service is very convenient. Can't wait to return. Merry Christmas
This is a very nice hotel with comfortable and quiet rooms. The view on the bay is really great. My only critics are regarding the room service that is only scheduled twice a week and the odd location of the office that doesn't allow to drive to To check-in, you need to park at the bottom of the hill and walk to the office.The parking closes to the stair being reserve for the hotel should be reserve for 15 min guess to check-in.
Great view from the room and the restaurant. Can even see sunrise and sunset from the room and the restaurant. Very special decoration in the room. The hotel also provide Mosquito net with the bed, which is very considerate.
This place was really quaint. I loved the breakfast and wished I stayed for it more often. There were lots of stairs but that's St. Thomas. Very friendly, very accommodating, very close to everything you need.
We had very little time so the fact that we could literally walk to the villa in 5 minutes was fantastic! We loved the villa, especially since we were the only renters out of eight villas and had the entire upper area to ourselves.
We were reallyoomkng forward to a fine dining experience with an ocean view and excellent seafood but the recommended places were closed I. Sundays. We thought we were settling for the hotel restaurant but it turns out the Maura, the chef/bartender/host/ provided us with superb service AND delicious cuisine. I had the blackened Mahi with mashed sweet potatoes. It was sooooo yummy! The Greek salad was so fresh and was a great appetizer to share.
The next day we had to eat lunch before the restaurant officially opened so thank God there was Majra again to cater to us! Burgers, stacked sandwiches. Fresh cut fries, and veggies were the order of the day, and did not disappoint!
We will most definitely be back to visit this quaint St Thomas treasure😄🌴🐠
We were really happy with this hotel. The location is gorgeous - it's on the top of the hill and the view from the balcony is amazing. This place was also really close to the airport, in fact, our friends, who didn't have a car the first day, easily walked there from the airport. The hotel manager is a really nice lady, she was super-helpful and wonderful to deal with. We planned to stay there only first night, before taking a ferry to St. John, but then we stayed our last night as well, before flying back.
