“Nice hotel”

We enjoyed our stay. The room was comfortable and very clean. We all slept very well which was our main concern. I would stay there again.

“Very Nice Hotel”

I was not sure what to expect when I seen the area this hotel was in(mainly industrial). I was very surprised and pleased with the accomodations. Both clerks we encountered at check-in and check-out were pleasant. I asked for directions to area restaurants from a third front desk associate and she was extremely helpful and gave her personal recommendation. There were printed directions ready for anyone who asked for them to various areas. Breakfast was good but would suggest two waffle makers for mornings when hotel is heavily booked.

“Not too bad”

My family and I were traveling back to NC from a trip to Ohio. Upon arrival....we were little leary of the neighborhood. Walking in to the lobby......I was very impressed. I had requested in advance a roll away bed. It had not been noted and had ask for it to be delivered to the room. The room was very clean and I was impressed. The guy that delivered the bed was not very nice. The kids were very disappointed to see the spa area was closed. :-( The side door we used.......there was lots of trash in bushes. The next morning.....breakfast was good. Staff was courteous. When we got back to the room.....we found a note under the door saying the water would be off till 3:00pm.....and if we wanted a shower, we had to go to another hotel. NOT GOOD to 3 kids with no shower, no spa, and no toilet. Thought the water maintenance could have waited till after check out. ????

“Disappointed”

When this hotel was booked, it said there was a pool....wrong!! No pool and the spa was broken. Not impressed. Will stay at a better known hotel next time.

“Very impressed!”

I had stayed at a Wingate before. This location is superior to the one I had visited in Florida. It is a beautiful hotel. The staff is very friendly. I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

“Charleston Easter”

The hotel was clean, comfortable and the rooms were very spacious. The beds were comfortable and breakfast was great!

Area recommendations
I grew up in Charleston and for the price and comfort - this is a good deal. This hotel is right off the interstate so it is easy access to anyplace. We chose it because of the indoor pool (which is next door at the Ramada and open until midnight). Staff was friendly and hotel was clean.

“WOW.....CHARLESTON, WV'S BEST!!!!!”

“Great Experience”

Great experience. The room had the feel of a modern upscale boutique hotel. Quick internet connection. Nice hot breakfast. Helpful staff. Cool eclectic local shops and restaurants within walking distance. Nice getaway. I'll definitely be back.
