“Charleston vacation”

We loved it! Had never been to the area, and it turned out to be convenient to all the tourist attractions. Easy to get on the interstate. Good breakfast too.

“Wonderful hotel - we definitely would return”

The hotel was spotless, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful, and the room was clean and larger than expected. There were always fresh towels and the room smelled clean. There was a small lounge area as well as a small kitchen area in the hotel room along with the bedroom and bath. This made for a wonderful area to relax and talk about the day, fix fresh coffee or a snack. The morning complimentary breakfast had hot food as well as cold and was fresh and delicious. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who travels to the Charleston area.

“Charleston Hotel. Not too close to downtown but I choose that for quietness!”

We choose this hotel because it was away from downtown busyness. It was very clean and the rooms was extremely nice and nicely decorated. The breakfast was suppose to be continental but it was very good and just enough. They also had resturants close by like McDonalds and

“would go again,close shopping. great eating close by.”

plenty to do.

“Great hotel in a friendly place”

Not only was the room excellent, bed fabulous and everything up and working but the hotel staff made our stay very personable for our breakfast dining experience. Our stay was so enjoyable, we booked this hotel again for a week later.

“Good Choice”

Rooms are a nice size. Staff was friendly and helpful. I didn't believe earlier reviews about the crowing rooster, but I did hear it when the sun came up.

Have stayed here before, and will stay here again. Very nice in every way. So clean and neat and very well-furnished. Gracious staff, and excellent breakfast. A 10 all around.

“Relaxing, before the drive home”

My wife and I spent our Spring vacation driving down the South Carolina coast. It was a great week and we spent the nights in several hotels. To be honest, I don't think we had a bad hotel in the bunch. This is where we ended our trip as we closed out our vacation. This was the most modern of the hotels we stayed at. It was very clean, the internet service was great and the breakfast was very good. It has very easy access to the major highways and is an easy connection to the northern parts of Charleston. Traffic did back up during their rush hours and when there were accidents, but for this part of our trip we were not heading back to downtown Charleston. If we were heading to downtown Charleston I think I would have tried to get a little closer. If you are a business person or just looking for a very clean and well run hotel this is great. If you a looking for a place with some character or southern charm, other hotels would probably fit that bill better.

“A great value 15 mins from Charleston”

A new property that has a modern appearance. I rarely give an all excellent rating, but this property deserves it because of its value. The outside of the hotel is a common format for Springhill, but once in the door, it is very different than other hotels I have seen. Springhill went out of their way to be different with very few angles and many curves in the lobby area. Coffee and hot water available at all times in the lobby with a breakfast that is better than most of the chains that cater to the business traveler. Rooms also have a modern appearance with high ceilings and angles throughout the room. Beds are great with the work area separated by a wall from the bed area. Yes, the TV can be seen from both the work area and the bedroom, but it is usable. They had to move the TV to give more room for the bathroom. The bathroom is now much bigger than a standard bathroom. Everything was very clean and we will be staying again later this week.

“Blew me away!”

I had stayed at Spring Hill Suites before and loved them but this one blew me away! I asked someone working there and they said it was about two years old. The decor is very modern and unlike any other place I have ever stayed. The rooms were so comfortable and the breakfast was delicious! It is a great location and so much cheaper than staying in downtown Charleston! I highly recommend it!
