“Great place to stay.”

This was our first time visiting Charleston, SC. Everything we wanted to do was within 15 minutes or less from the hotel. Our room was a suite with a full kitchen and living room which included a sofa bed. There was a TV in the bedroom and living room as well. Our stay there included a hot breakfast, coffee and tea available all day and a social hour with snacks and beverages from 5:30 to 7:30 pm. All of the employees were very helpful and polite. We would definitely stay at this hotel again when we return to Charleston.

Area recommendations

We loved it all. Down town Charleston, SC was beautiful. Battery Park area has beautiful homes and a wonderful park for taking pictures. We visited many of the museums which really enlightened us about the city and the lives of the slaves in early history. If you love seafood, Hymans was our favorite on Meeting Street. We also visited the Boone plantation which was awesome. Shopping is everywhere throughout the city. There is so much more to see and do.

Dining

In downtown Charleston, SC our favorite was Hymans. The service and food is great. The portions are large and cooked to perfection. Each table lists the names of famous people who ate at your table. We highly recommend Hymans. Gilligans was also good. Both of these restaurants were reasonably priced.

“Great Room!”

The king size bed was great! It was very confortable and the linen was soft and inviting! The room was excellent, the breakfast was excellent and the staff was great! Very friendly and provided excellent customer service! Great place to stay!

“Great hotel!”

This hotel was great! We arrived late, had a very easy check in, and a very comfortable room. We had a room with a king bed and a jetted tub. What a great way to end a day of 12.5 hours driving in a car! There was also a separate sitting area in the room and an efficiency. The breakfast was also delicious and not too crowded. They had a large varierty of foods for everyone to enjoy. Would definitely stay here again!!

“Will stay here again on our next trip to Charleston!!!”

Hotel was clean and well maintained. Staff was nice. Drive to downtown Charleston is about 15 ~ 20 minutes depending on traffic.

“Nice place for the money”

We were looking for a suite in that area to host out of town guests. The hotel was nice, and the hot breakfast not bad. The door to our room was not easy to close (lock), and the toilet seat wouldn't stay up by itself. Other than that, it was clean and comfortable.
