“Bad encounters, not once but twice!”

I could deal with the weird weak wicker headboard and even the corny lil radio, not the biggest deal. BUT to walk in twice and meet a roach - at the same spot right at the inside room entrance - yeah, that wasn't fun. I can't recommend staying here.

“Nice Hotel with a Few Small Issues”

Always like Hampton Inns. This one was clean and very convenient to Charleston (downtown + other attractions). Staff was O.K. - pretty nonchalant. We checked in at approx. 4pm and our room wasn't ready so they gave us another one. Maids were still cleaning on our floor and were quite loud (speaking and music playing). We also had to work our way around their carts as they kept them sticking out in the hallway. Temperature in room was hard to moderate... just felt clammy. I liked that they had coffee and water available at the end of the hall, but they didn't bother to keep it fresh or dump it out when it wasn't. TV in room wasn't working very well. Lower channels (such as CBS) was too snowy to watch. This Hampton Inn & Suites just wasn't quite up to par with the others I've stayed in, however, I would stay again if something else wasn't ready available in the same price range.

“Very satisfied”

The only thing I saw that annoyed me was the large flat panel in the breakfast area was very crooked. Straighten it! =) Good job otherwise.

“Very Comfortable and Pleasant”

The West Ashley Hampton Inn has been our hotel of choice twice now and I would highly recommend it to anyone traveling to that part of South Carolina. We were there to work, so having a most comfortable, attractive and cheerful place to rest at night was great. The full breakfast was terrific and all of the staff were pleasant and attentive.

“Very nice and quiet”

We had the chance for a last minute weekend trip. We have stayed at other Hampton Inns and always have liked them. This was not the location we wanted but decided it was close enough. We booked the last room available. We arrived late, about 1:00AM and slept late. We never heard a sound the hotel was quiet even though it was full. Everything was clean and very nice. We would certianly stay there again.

“"pleasantly surprised"”

My family of six were very well satisfied with all aspects of this hotel and the breakfast the next morning was great. Very clean and comfortable, money well spent. We would recommend this to anyone with no hesitation.

As we arrived a little later in the evening it was very convenient because several restaurants were right across the street. made it easy to feed my family of six in just a little time and effort.

“J Simmons Charleston Visit”

Hotel was comfortable, clean and quiet. Breakfast area was adequate. Location was convenient to Charleston, but a bit difficult to find due to the hidden entrance.
