“We enjoyed our stay”

For a family of 6, Embassy Suites is perfect! One suite is all you need! The suite is spacious. We found everything clean and very nice. Check-in was a breeze with Expedia! The staff here in Charleston, WV were very nice and helpful. The breakfast buffet, which is included, was very good.

“Downtown”

“can't wait to stay at the embassy again”

we loved everything about the hotel, service was wonderful, room was extra great, very roomy,net & clean. So good to get away and relax in such a nice place.

Area recommendations

Charleston, wv. everything was near, didn't have to drive anywhere, anything we needed was close at hand.

When to go

anytime, easy to find and easy to get back on the interstate. Dining was great, great shopping at the town center mall

“What a pleasant surprise!”

Downtown hotel tend to show a lot of wear-and-tear, and we didn't expect to be impressed with this one, especially since it was right next to the Civic Center and the Charleston Town Square Mall. Boy, were we pleasantly surprised. The staff was extremely pleasant and went way out of their way to make us feel at home. The food was exceptional, the room was clean and I'd stay there in a heartbeat.

Area recommendations

The Mall adjoining the hotel is excellent.

Out of the limited options to choose from in Charleston, WV, this has to be it. Tidewater Grill, a decent restaurant, is right around the corner.

“It was just Ok...”

When we first arrived there were beer bottles in the trash - which lead me to search the rest of the room to make sure it was clean. It appeared to be. Two days after checking out I had a charge of $30 on my credit card - I called they said I made two local calls and one long distance. I couldn't even tell you where the phone was located - they said they were taking charges off, guess we will see in a couple of days if they do. Pay per view movies were 17 to rent - and internet was 10. Rip off!

“Excellent Hotel”

The staff and wait service was very polite and courteous. The suite was quite comfortable and the separate bedroom/living space was excellent for entertaining guests and business associates. I would definitely stay here again.
