“Not the hotel to go to”
I was told I could get early check in and they refused. The room had bugs in it and the breakfast was horrible! The microwave in the room was black and very very very dirty...was dirty enough on the outside I didn't even touch the button to look on the inside. This also stopped me from looking into the fridge! The breakfast was style and the bread was rock hard. Only had an orange drink to drink...though the location was good, and the out side was nice looking, the rest of it was horrible...my daughter and I were even scared to sleep on the bed...we went out to get blankets to lay on and cover up with because we were scared of what was in the room! Gross! The TV selection was horrible also... very minimal
“Great Hotel For The Money”
This hotel is in a convenient location and is very easy to get to. They offer free wireless internet, parking and continental breakfast. The room was a nice size and looked as though it had been recently updated. It wasn't anything fancy but I didn't think that it was bad at all for the price that I paid. The room had a TV, small refrigerator, microwave and hair dryer. The staff was very friendly. The only thing that I didn't like about the hotel was the quality of the bed - it was pretty firm. I would recommend this hotel to anyone that is looking for a decent place to stay, close to the city and on a budget.
“Older but comfy motel”
The Creekside is an older motel, but the room was clean, spacious and comfortable. The bed and pillows were particularly comfortable, and the room was a nice size. The pool is small and located right by the parking lot. The location is convenient off the Savannah Hwy., and only about 10- 15 min from the airport.
“Would definitely stay again.”
This is a budget hotel, if you normally go to the Hilton or Marriott..don't stop here. If you want a nice place to stay that won't break your budget, stay here. Hotel has well maintained grounds, clean outdoor pool, picnic area and our favorite, crabbing/fishing pier. Rooms are a little rough around the edges, (hole in plaster on ceiling, bathroom could use refinishing) but they are clean and comfortable. Towels were the worst part of the stay, small and rough. Staff was friendly and we absolutely loved the place.
“Hope to return when remodeling finished.”
It really is "creekside", and we enjoyed sitting on the dock, or swings to watch the marsh birds and the tide. The pool was welcome after a hot day sightseeing in Charleston. They are in the process of remodeling, so everything was not quite up to par, but it was clean, comfortable and convenient., and breakfast was okay. Our microwave & fridge need replacing, but otherwise, no complaints. We do plan to go back there.
“Overall satisfied”
My daughter & I stayed for two nights. Because of the great deal we got through Expedia, I'm overall satisfied with what we got, but wouldn't have wanted to pay more. The beds were comfortable, but the overhead light was missing and the wiring exposed, and there was no lamp near the beds, making it impossible to comfortably read at night. The clerk at checkout time said she was sorry and would check on it, but it's hard for me to believe they didn't realize it before. They seem to work hard at making it feel welcoming, with a gazebo and picnic tables & swings by the marsh, but the second floor breezeway had an open rolling cart filled with trash both days. The breakfast buffet could've maybe been better, but I'm always thankful to have any breakfast included. I love the wafflemaker. Would stay again if offered a good deal.
“can't complain for the price”
It's not a five star hotel but it's clean and comfortable for the price. The girl that checked us in was friendly and helpful with restaurant ideas. If I was to suggest any improvements it would be to add stairs in the middle of the front and a stand for the fridge/ microwave.
“Low cost, excellent hotel for City visits”
At a cheaper price than other area hotels per night, this hotel was within 10 minutes of Charleston and very clean. Our room appeared to have been recently remodeled. Breakfast was limited but fine considering we had lunch and dinner in Charleston.
“Decent Room”
This is a decent place for when you need a place to sleep and bathe. It looks fairly nice from the outside. On the inside, some renovations have been made but they definitely cut corners. The room was clean though. They have a great view and a dock to walk out on over the creek. The lady at the desk was very helpful when we were trying to find a convention center. She even printed out directions for us.
“Motel etwa 15 min von Charleston downtown, direkt am Highway nach Savannah.”
Der Service war freundlich. Das Zimmer war einfach, aber sauber. Leider funktionierten die Nachttischlampen nicht. Das Frühstück war nicht üppig, aber für das Geld kann man wahrscheinlich auch nicht mehr erwarten.
