“Great Hotel, Great Location”

Could not have asked for more....Convenient to the best that Charleston has to offer in the way of shopping and dining...

“Great Historic Downtown Visit”

The Courtyard has only been re-open about a month since it was purchased from another chain and the interior spaces are clean and new. The concierge was in the lobby assisting people just every time we walked through. In fact, we got a tip from the concierge about a comedy improv show the Wed. night we arrived (it was $5!!) that was great fun. Wouldn't have found that without her help. There is a lovely cafe/bar area also. I would recommend the drinks and starbucks menu but the breakfast I ordered wasn't anything like it's photo on the menu - For breakfast, try Virginia's on King St. mmmmm best b-fast ever!! The only down side is that there is another wing of hotel under construction and it was right outside our window, so if you want to sleep past 8 am bring earplugs. We were busy doing things so it wasn't an issue for us early risers but the jackhammer was a bit of a surprise first thing in the am. Great location with safe parking (there is a charge) both above and below ground on site. We parked when we arrived and didn't touch the car again until we left. Use the DASH free trolley to get around!
