“Very satisfied”

Good and clean accommodation, parking garage very convenient and free! Just a few blocks away from the old town - 10 minute walk. Reception friendly and helpful. If you check in after hours, check for phone number and instructions on front door. Take away restaurants just around the block! La Rochelle beautiful to visit, would definitely recommend!

“One night in La Rochelle”

Nice simple hotel; family room was clean and light with a double in one room and two single beds (Sofa bed)in the lounge area; ideal for our two young kids but would still be OK for 4 adults if you are good friends. The location while a short (10 min) walk from the port is in a light industrial area - not bad, just not very pretty. We where traveling with a car (4x4) and camping trailer (with bikes on the roof) so security was a priority for me which we found in the easily accessable underground car park. I'd say it's a great stop over hotel if you are passing through as we were (for one or two nights). If you where staying longer in La Rochelle would want something a little prettier and with more character....

“Spacious and Comfy”

Nice big room with queen bed and full sized bath/shower for a single person, plus a large balcony off the room and a really good breakfast buffet. The staff were really gracious and spoke English very well.

Area recommendations
You must visit the Vieux Port, and Les Minimes is the better beach. If you have kids. I also enjoyed the Musee de Automates, but it's not for everybody.

“Nice little hotel”

Nice little character hotel. Quite a nice restaurant too (although menus don't rotate each day- but there are plenty of nice places to eat within 30 mins drive)

“Great value and good for families”

We were a little bit concerned reading other reviews about the location, but actually its not that far out and using the electric ferry boat to cross the harbour is very handy. Having stayed at the Ibis Vieux Port previously it didn't really take any longer to get into the centre of town. The apartment itself was clean, spacious and well presented. Minor niggles were no iron, no shaver point, and just one tiny bin in bathroom. The WC was located by the entrance but the bathroom was at the back of the apartment - again only a minor niggle. Would definitely recommend to families - great value and much more spacious than most hotels. Breakfast available but we found a great bakers on the way to town serving good coffee etc.

“Hotel Topotel excelente opcion a pocos pasos de La Rochelle”

Este hotel es una excelente opcion para quienes viajan a La Rochelle, sobre todo porque esta cercano a la villa y a las marinas y zonas turisticas. Esta en excelente estado y el personal es muy atento y hablan ingles muy bien. Lo unico es que tiene muy pocas opciones de restaurants o supermercados cercanos; el Hotel tiene otro nombre en la parte exterior del edificio: "Hotel Archipel" por lo que confunden a los viajeros solo me entere que se llamaba Topotel entrando al edificio y si va con GPS la ubicacion la hace al otro lado de la calle. Debe corregirse esto!!

Area recommendations
No se pierdan una visita a la Isla de Re a solo 15 minutos de La Rochelle, la villa de San MArtin un bello pueblo pesquero con excelentes restaurants , tienditas y paisajes de ensueño . Un paseo en bicicleta por ese maravilloso lugar, es realmente algo que no debe dejar de hacerse.

“Tophotel Apparthotel Archipel : Le confort et la tranquilité !”

Hotel trés agréable ! Chanbre spatieuse et équipée ! Bémol : wifi payant et petit déjeuner excessivement cher (12€)

“hotel résidence 4 etoiles ne mériterait que 3 etoiles mais ....pas mal quand meme”

hotel résidence correcte. ne mériterait que 3 étoiles :emplacement a proximité d une zone industrielle 8 minutes du port et de tous les restaurants très sympas qualité/prix ok, la prestation de services hoteliers est a revoir car nous étions en vacances et le service d étage nous a reveillé les 2 premiers jours pour faire le ménage à 09h 15 du matin? de ce fait le ménage n a pas été fait pendant 2 jours......... pour un hotel 4 étoiles ? le personnel d accueil très agréable. bonne literie dans les chambres kitchnette dans le studio parfaite (mais pas très utilisé lave vaisselle pour 2 ) on aurait préféré une cafetiere élèctrique pour un bon café car le petit déjeunér excessif. parking parfait nous n avons pas pris la voiture de la semaine à la ROCHELLE MARCHE A PIEDS OU BATEAU C EST GENIAL

“Loin des 4 étoiles”

Service d'accueil agréable mais le reste ne suit pas : - Ménage partiellement fait dans la cuisine - Tous les jours il manquait quelques choses : serviette de bain et taie d'oreiller en nombre insuffisants, poubelle non vidée manque de sac, ect... - Luminosité insuffisante dans la salle de bain (ampoules grillées 2 sur 4) - Vaisselle "minable", pas un verre identique idem pour les couverts A cette allure les étoiles s'envolent rapidement...

Cet hôtel est très bien situé et permet une agréable visite de La Rochelle. N'oubliez pas de prendre le passeur au bout de l'avenue des Amériques
