Lovely hotel with great breakfast too. Location next go park which made it a little scary returning at night as quiet dark roads to walk along. Lovely stay and safe car parking too

Friendly staff, free parking, walking distance to the beautiful La Rochelle with its great array of bars and restaurants. Spacious rooms ( ask for one over looking the pool or park) Handy mini fridge tea and coffee making

I cancelled more than 24 hours in advance due to a flight delay and was advised that the refund would be processed through expedia. When Expedia contacted the hotel to process the refund, it was denied. That is a dishonest practice to refuse to refund a cancellation.

The room was just Ok. The Air Conditioning was controlled by the front desk. A little cool during the day and at night had to sleep without any bed covering. The room should have been much cooler for the price. The mini bar was not very cold at all.Was told it is just a Mini bar not meant for food just drinks. Well I have been in many hotels and all mini bars have been cold to very cold. Next time will stay in the 4 Star next to the Aquarium in town. Tried to stay next to the Aquarium but was all booked for the 5 nights that I needed to stay.

Bonjour, Je suis vraiment désolé que le service n'est pas été à la hauteur de vos attentes. Nous allons débriefer avec la responsable du restaurant afin de savoir ce qu'il c'est passé exactement. Concernant les moquettes celles-ci ont été nettoyées en juin et ont beaucoup souffert de la saison, nous allons effectuer un deuxième nettoyage de tout l'établissement en décembre pendant la période plus calme. The pool is small for the number of guest rooms. One of the bedside lights in the room was not working and the air conditioning was poor. The restaurant menu is very basic. My wife had gnocchi, which I am guessing was not prepared onsite. It was clearly reheated quickly and at too high a temperature, which meant that the gnocchi was burnt but the cheese had not managed to melt into the sauce. The waitress was curt towards us throughout our dinner. This was not because we complained (we didn´t) or because we were not polite and friendly (we were). She did not pour our wine (she did on other tables), we had to ask for condiments (usually offered with fries) which were then banged down. I was served different fries to other guests that were also having Moules frites. Mine appeared to be from the menu enfant, as they were the same as the ones served to our child. The fries were cold. All in all it did not feel like a restaurant experience, more like a cheap pub serving reheated food by rude staff. The rooms start at 210 euros per night, so we were expecting more. Overall experience from experienced family traveler = Mediocre.

Bonjour Monsieur, Notre piscine n'est en effet pas très grande (10 mètres * 4 mètres) mais nous sommes un établissement de bord de mer donc notre clientèle va surtout voir la mer et la plage de la Concurrence qui est à 10 minutes à pieds. Notre carte du restaurant est concoctée avec des produits simple MAIS frais et tout est cuisinée sur place. Le chef prépare également des suggestions (entrées plats et desserts) avec des produits frais et de la région. Nous ne faisons aucune différence entre nos clients, le fait que vous ayez pu avoir des frites plus fines venant simplement d'une rupture le soir où vous avez diner nous avons fait 100 couverts. Je suis désolé que le séjour vous ai laissé déçu. Cordialement. Laurent HAOUR

I was part of a large rugby group the hotel was excellent and we were really well looked after apart from the waitress at breakfast who was quite abrupt,rude and unhelpful.

Great hotel in a good position. We had out dog with us so the walk through the park was wonderful. Efficient and friendly staff. Lovely room with comfortable bed. Good breakfast choice.

This is in no way a 4-star hotel. Room was extremely basic and dated, ive stayed at nicer premier inns. We booked a room for two adults and one child. When we arrived at our room we saw it had a sofa but it hasnt been made into a bed for our son. When we called the reception, after much explaining, we were told we just had to make it as the bed was made "inside". You'd think that in a 4-star hotel someone would be sent to the room immediately to sort it out. We managed to figure it out ourselves after it became clear they had no intention of helping us. I dont even want to know how long that bed had been made in the way and how many people sat on it with "inside" sheets not changing. The bathroom was a joke with no toiletries apart from budget hotel style soap dispenser in shower. Toilet was a separate tiny cubicle, ive never seen anything like it and cannot fathom how this can earn four stars. Staff spoke almost no English which I guess its fine but it didnt stop them giggling about our lack of french behind our backs- I speak five languages, French just isnt one of them so I dont appreciate it. When we arrived at the hotel restaurant and sat down a huffy waiter came to tell us we shouldnt have sat down without asking him. Im sorry but for a hotel with supposedly four stars and at the price we paid this is not acceptable. The food tasted nice though so there is that.

The breakfast was excellent with a very good range of food and drink. The lunchtime and evening meals didn’t work for us as we didn’t feel they catered for vegetarians very well. The location of the property is perfect

Perfect for what we wanted.
This hotel ticks all the boxes when looking for a stay in La Rochelle if you want to be in a quiet location but within striking distance (10 min walk) of the lively port. Wi-fi is good, pool is fine although on the small side, food is excellent and staff are extremely nice. It’s also on the edge of a really nice park so it’s not as though you are away from the port in a built up area as you aren’t. Lastly and importantly it has plenty of parking on site.

Amazing hotel, a short walk from the town centre. Great for travelling with kids, restaurant and bar has a small play section. The pool is very deep with only about a metre before I couldn’t stand up, so if you have any non swimmers, take armbands for them.

Good location & not far from the main town. The room requires a full refurbishment not just a mini makeover that it’s recently had. It also needs a good clean as remnants (dust etc) still remain for the mini refurb, especially in the toilet & shower area. Nice pool but enough sun loungers.
