I found this hotel in Bogota to be an exemplary place to stay whether you are in a business or tourist mood. I travel to Colombia very often and have experienced many types of lodging, hotels and boutique venues; Hotel Tempo is the best in my visits to this country over the last 10 years.
I applaud the staff, congratulate management and owners.
Please keep up service and outstanding image of modern service and lodging.

My experience began with my early arrival at the hotel. I was warmly greeted by several members of the staff and was promptly checked in without any fuss. I stayed in a junior suite. A well stocked mini bar, kitchenette, dining table and sofa. Ample room for all my needs. The bed was extremely comfortable. Most importantly the best comfort in Bogota, HOT WATER. If you have spent any time at all in Bogota, water heated in a dark barrel on the roof is the norm. Thank goodness the water here is heated for real. The internet connection was stable and fast. The breakfast buffet had a selection of Colombiana delights that changed daily as well as having fresh squeezed tropical fruit juices. The restaurant also serves up an excellent menu for lunch and dinner and serves until 10 pm. I would have to say this hotel is a valuable gem and I will always stay here when I am in Bogota. I truly recommend to you that this hotel is a good decision for whatever reason you may be in town.

The hotel is in a quiet area, with lots of good and reasonably priced restaurants to choose from. The hotel fee includes a thoroughly adequate breakfast. You can also have a very good lunch and adequate dinner there.
At least one of the staff speaks good English if that is needed.
Many foreigners around to share experiences with.
The area is safe, but watch out for scammers on the street near the bigger hotels (i.e. the Marriot nearby)
The rooms are comfortable and welcoming, but not luxurious. Bathroom is good - no extras.
