Excelent location very close to business and good restaurants. The staff is excellent and the rooms are big suites. My only complaint is that the rooms look very dated (80-s) and need better maintenance (dings etc). Otherwise very good value for money compared to hotels in the vicinity.

Pros: clean hotel, well-situated considering layout of Bogota. Very professional staff, big rooms. Breakfast is excellent. Cabs always available.
Cons: language barrier creates problems and they don't always answer the main phone line at hotel. Dinner was fair and service at dinner was also fair. Bar is well-designed but service is inefficient there.
Elevator was not working during the last two days of my stay there and I was on the seventh floor.
I had a guest stay with me for part of my stay; the additional charges associated with a guest staying wasnt explained to me and I was billed at check out. Better communication from staff would be appreciated.

Excellent hotel! I stayed for 5 nights in total and from the very first day the staff was very welcoming, accommodating, and helpful. The room was very spacious, clean, and comfortable. The breakfast was also excellent with a selection of fresh fruits, eggs, local foods, and coffee. Easy to take a taxi to some of the main attractions--such as Plaza de Bolivar, Cerro de Monserrate, Zona Rosa, etc. The price and value were excellent for what you get. I had read some things about the neighborhood being "sketchy" on here--I don't agree. I walked around at night and felt completely safe; there are several local restaurants around and a grocery store and liquor store nearby. Cab drivers were easily able to find it and the staff was always willing to help. Highly recommended for travelers to Bogota!

By day, the Chapinero barrio in Bogotá abounds in shopping and dining options, and tourists admire the gothic arches and spires of Our Lady of Lourdes Church. By night, Chapinero pulses with the energy of its nightclubs and bars. Well known for its diversity, the Chapinero Alto neighborhood in particular offers an array of LGBT-friendly venues.
