This place is simple but nicer than I'd expected for the price. The location was perfect, cute and close to the harbor. The room was big and attractive. The bed was quite hard but that would be my biggest complaint. Beautiful balcony, quaint bargain!

"Great room, great service, average food and booze"
On the whole, we had a very pleasant experience at Kiani Beach. We informed them when booking that this trip was for our honeymoon and they very kindly upgraded our room to a maisonette which was very spacious and had great views.
The staff were all very friendly and helpful and spoke great English and made us feel at ease.
The resorts facilities are good with a nice little bar, a pool and loungers and showers on the beach. Everywhere, including the room, was kept very clean and it was a nice environment to be in.
The food at the resort was OK but nothing to write home about. The restaurant felt more like a canteen but there was always plenty of choice and when anything ran out it was topped up pretty quickly. Similarly the included alcohol was obviously cheap and you needed to drink a fair bit of it but as it's included in the price we didn't really expect branded stuff.
Aside from the food and drink I'd definitely recommend this hotel and you should be going into Chania Town to eat at the tavernas anyway to get the true Crete experience!
The only way to get to this hotel is by doing "Samaria Walk" 16 km or by ferry (return tickets for 1 person 16 euros, taxi boat 80 euros) . Ferry's operates 3 time per day.
Description of this hotel is very misleading "free parking" .
We spent part of our honeymoon at La Maison Ottomane and it was exquisite. It is hard to imagine a better place to stay in Chania. There are three rooms and a small courtyard: everything is carefully curated, luxurious, well designed and thought-out, but also unstuffy. The Ottoman theme is faithfully executed, but not at all cheesy or overbearing. We were upgraded to an enormous duplex suite because of some small maintenance work in the room we had originally reserved. However, the other room would have been amazing too. The location is just several blocks away from the Venetian harbor, but tucked away on a very quiet street. More than anything else, however, the proprietor and staff are incredibly attentive, detail oriented and accommodating. For example, on our last day, it was all a matter of course that we should have breakfast (fresh coffee, croissants, muffins, toast, yogurt, fruits, etc., and I'm sure we could have asked for anything else that we might have wanted) prepared and served to us at 4:30 am so that we could catch our flight back to Athens.... Highly highly recommended.
Great Hotel, modern facilities. 6 people in 3 separate rooms.
Allocated rooms in lower grade hotel for first night which was an inconvenience but manager upgraded us to Junior Suites in the main hotel for rest of our stay these were beautiful and all had sea views. Also received an upgrade from half board to all inclusive for the last two days of our stay.
Food is typical buffet and a little repetitive but good quality and a lot of choice.
The hotel is built into the side of the hill above Agia Marina so fantastic views but a bit of a walk back up to hotel from beach and main strip but not too daunting, we had use of a car but still walked back. There is a lift adjacent to the pool that reduces the climb.
Free internet access but quite slow and only available around the reception area.
Pool towels available 10 Euros deposit.
Extra electronic room door key - 5 Euros deposit.
If you like a hot drink in your room you will need to take a kettle as no tea/coffee making facilities provided.
All of the staff were very friendly and helpful.
Would I return YES!!
