We contacted the concierge about visiting one of the palaces. He (concierge) made the phone call and booked my wife and I on the tour. We were picked up the people providing the tour. By the way, this tour service costed 81 EURO. We were picked up in front of the hotel and taken to the touring place. We were then grouped in to tour groups. We were then on tour of Madrid beginning at approximately 0915 hours. Throughout the tour the tour guide provided tidbits of Madrid in three different languages. Making this extremely time consuming.
We traveled in this tour for about two and a half hours without bath room breaks. After this tour, we were immediately taken to the museum for a tour that lasted until approximately 1 1/2 hours. Again without a bath room break. Or a break for consumption of food.
What was most disappointing about this tour, is after walking for most of the tour, we were told that we were on our own for travel back to our hotel. This was most disappointing.
Well situated for the Canal Metro stop. Helpful friendly staff (especially Isabel in the restaurant and Carlos on the front desk).
My single room was clean and comfy. I didn't use the air conditioning so I can't comment on that
The breakfast was lovely, lots of choice, including gluten free options. Lovely toiletries, free papers. What's not to like?
I would go back if I ever go back to Madrid
Located right beside a Metro station which allows easy access to all of central Madrid. Clean with pleasant staff but rooms small and rather tired and old fashioned. One major gripe is that you have to pay an extra 20 Euros per day to use their pool/spa which is rather a con for a supposed 5 star hotel. Summary: fine as a business hotel, great for somewhere to sleep whilst visiting Madrid but rather characterless and nothing to enjoy in the hotel inself
Found this hotel to be very reasonable and comfortable and within a great location, as the train station is just around the corner. It was also easy to catch the train from the Madrid airport to this station (only 1 change from line 8 to line 10) to get to the hotel. Travel time was approx. 20-30 mins
We walked easily to many restaurants and cafes and was only a 10 - 15 minute walk into 'Puerto Sol' area.
Room was clean, however décor could do with an update in the actual room but ensuite was modern and very roomy - but still very comfortable.
The accommodation were very nice, the room was clean and very comfortable. No noise which it was very nice for a good night sleep after a long flight. Everyone in the hotel was very helpful and friendly. We enjoyed our visit in Madrid even though it was only two days. We hope to come back soon and see more of the city.

We found the hotel to be clean and, for the most part, quiet ( a couple of instances of noisy guests in the hallway is bound to happen and not so often that any complaint would be justified). There were 3 adults and there were 3 beds and the one bed that looked like it had been added was incredibly uncomfortable. It was not a rollaway but was an actual bed but should be replaced with a more comfortable bed. The air-conditioning unit could barely keep the room cool enough.

One kilometer north of the city center, this quintessential Spanish neighborhood draws those who want stay in a tranquil atmosphere. Described as one of the prettiest barrios in Madrid, Chamberí's tree-lined streets lead to cafés, independent shops, art galleries, and parks. With easy access to metro stations and opportunities for golf, this community also includes the charming Sorolla Museum.
