We were greeted by a team of cheerful staff who are very helpful. We have booked total of 4 rooms - 2 family suite, 1 pool room and 1 deluxe which are located in different building but the recepion staff is very nice to bring the group to individual room and show us the facilities. The frontline team is great. Although the hotel is a bit worn out especially in the rooms, we still have a great time and enjoy so much because of the staff.
Had a really relaxing stay for 4 nights. Service all over the hotel was excellent. I went for the upgrade to Club room and it's really woth the extra in terms of using the club room for snacks and pre- dinner drinks. Free shuttle bus into town on the hour too. Just don't expect your room to reflect the 'club' name. We found it quite disappointing - rather tired decor. Our twin beds were were actually touching so not quite big enough. I paid a lot less for fantastic rooms inThailand over the Christmas holiday. However it was very clean, had everything we needed and comfortable. Just expected more for the price. It certainly didn't spoil our holiday. The pool is fantastic. The sea is full of jelly fish tentacles and not pleasant to swim in at all. Not that you'll have trouble finding space in the pool as it is huge. Enough on the lunch and dinner menu for all preferences and reasonably priced. Lots of fine wines on display but the bars only served up the regular plonk so I don't know what the point was there. It's a long walk to anything local. Best get the hotel shuttle bus as there is some great local restaurants in Hua Hin.
It's great for a private escape. Love the decor. Good breakfast but still more room to improve for more choices. Not many activities or facilities to do around. Good for real relaxing and chilling out.
Some places say "close to the beach" but are surrounded by shops, requiring a taxi to get to the actual beach. Not this place! From the lobby to the ocean is about 150 metres, with most of that holding the main swimming pool.
There are facilities for conferences, or just lie back. Get a massage if you like.
Instead of arguing over mini-bar prices, there is a mini-mart [great idea].
Trips to nearby Hua Hin let you buy souvenirs or other goodies, and they have a range of optional activities.
I wondered why they had several cats wandering around - then I saw one catch a green snake. Keep the cats!
The [free] shampoo bottles we quite hard to open. I have arthritis in my fingers, and wet hands make things worse. Bring your own container, or buy from the mini-mart, and transfer contents before trying to open a bottle in the shower.

We stayed at the Haven for four nights and had a very enjoyable relaxed time.
It is very pretty and the views are great, The pool is beautiful and everything is very clean.
The staff were very pleasant and made us feel very welcome.
It is decorated Thai style which was lovely and nice flowers everywhere.
The breakfast was fine and food very good if a bit limited.
Our only reservation about it is it is in an isolated location, there is nowhere to walk to either on the road or on the beach. There is a shuttle bus to Hua Hin but not in morning and the evening one was at 6.00 and returns ay 8.30 not giving enough time.
We did enjoy the atmosphere compared to the hustle and bustle of Bangkok.
Thailand’s longest continuous stretch of white sand beach, Cha-am is in Phetchaburi Province, 200 km (124 miles) south of Bangkok and about 3.5 hours by bus. Nearby attractions include Mrigadayavan Royal Palace, Huai Sai Wildlife Breeding Centre, and Puek-Tian resort town, known for its statues in the sea.
