A very relaxing 4 night stay at the very nice Hotel de la Paix. The rooms are very big and boast an amazing shower that comes from the ceiling in the middle of the bathroom! The hotel staff excelled in every way... with superb customer service. Breakfasts were delicious and varied day by day, the BBQ buffet was fantastic value and the food was very tasty. I would recommend this hotel for couples wanting an 'away from it all' break. I would not recommend it to those wanting a more lively holiday due to the location of the hotel. On the downside it took 30 minutes by shuttle bus to get into Hua Hin - which isn't the prettiest place I have ever been in Thailand. We also could not swim in the sea due to the jelly fish. That said, we were happy to laze on our sunbeds and use the hotel pools :)
Excellent services, helpful staff and good facilities. It has a big lagoon pool, beautiful landscaping, reasonable kids club with variety of activities. It is beside the beach, has spacious room, overall, it is excellent for family with children. Note: The hotel has connecting rooms, the twin room has 2 double beds, this allows for family with children to stay together, and space to move in the room. However, do take note the hotel does not have a lift, for elderly or those with difficulty climbing staircase, do book the room on the ground floor.

Not close to the beach, you have to take the shuttle to their sister hotel in Hua hin, which is better to stay in that city. Everything is old and needs a renovation. The pool is dirty. We can't use the jacuzzis because of the water problem. It's far from everything, not even a 7eleven is near. The staff barely understands English and up until the last day, when we were leaving, everyone started to greet us.

We arrived at the hotel early in the morning prior to check-in time and were given a huge room to use until our booked room was available. We were also able to use the same room at the end of our stay as we were not leaving the resort until 19.00. This was a real bonus and there was no charge.
We enjoyed our stay at the Regent Chalet Hotel but feel that some areas of the hotel are looking a bit tired and in need of some updating. That said the rooms were very comfortable with plenty of hot water, daily fresh towels and it was great having a fridge to put our drinks in.
The staff at the hotel were very friendly and the pool area superb.
I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel for anybody wanting a relaxing holiday in tropical surroundings.
The hotel was beside the sea with a nice swimming pool by the beach. View from the beach and pool was very nice, although you cannot really go the beach most of the time due to the tides (mostly high during december period). Room is clean with intimate design, suitable for couples and family. Hotel ambience is calm and serene as it is far in near the beach away from the city. Breakfast was good with sufficient choices and taste was good. Free hotel shuttle to Hua Hin city was great.
However, the wifi was weak in the room and could only get it at the lobby. Would definitely be back for stay in future!
Staff very friendly and helpful, hotel is clean and quiet, with beautiful sea breeze, sometimes air con is not needed.
Buffet breakfast superb value for your money, would definitely stay again next time I am in Cha-Am.
We booked for a 4 night relaxing stay by the beach and got just that.
We were made very welcome on arrival and shown to a great room in the smaller block above the reception area and overlooking the pool area.
I had read previous comments about walking straight into the bathroom area so did wonder what to expect. As you enter the room yes the bathroom area is to your right - a shower type curtain can be drawn across - and to your left is the wardrobe etc with s louver door in front of you leading to the spacious bedroom. Although unusual this did not cause a problem.
A large bathroom area with a huge walk in shower enclosure and most unique brightly coloured ceramic bathtub which was a lot more comfortable than it looked.
A well equipped room with the most comfortable of beds.
We used the restaurant a couple of times for dinner eating in the area set up around the pool - both the food and service were first class and we would highly recommend doing this.
Breakfast was served in a small open air restaurant behind the pool area and just across a small road. A great selection each day and again first class service.
