I didn't expect such a nice place for it's category.
I had a coffee machine (with the best PR coffee) in the room. The breakfast was also very good, and it was located on the top floor. Amazing panoramic view :-)
The recepcionist, I met first was super friendly (like anyone else), gave ideas, where and how to go, which beach is the nicest, what's going on in SJ, where to get local food, groceries, etc.
They cleaned the room/bathroom completely- every single day (stayed 5 nights).

It was pleasant and welcoming from the first moment I arrived, just minutes from the beach and only seconds from restaurants and shopping, but still very quiet inside, except for keeko frogs which I loved. I met some fantastic people at the breakfast nook and would highly recommend this place to anyone.
I unfortunately only booked for 3 days, if I had known how nice it was, I would have stayed longer.
Overall, we were pleasantly surprised and look forward to our next visit! The hotel was recently updated and the decor was modern and sleek. Rooms are very clean and furnished with modern furniture, LCD satellite TV, A/C, ceiling fan, laminate flooring, modern linens and bathroom has a nice-sized shower. There is valet parking for a nominal fee. On the second floor, there is a great terrace, which is where the simple continental breakfast is served daily. There is no elevator and we didn't see any rooms on the ground floor, so you may want to consider that if you have mobility issues. The only downside to the rooms is there are no chest of drawers or dressers, only floating shelves, so you either have to place your clothes on the open shelves or leave them in your suitcase. Our room had some hangars near the door. Also, there is no seating other than the bed, which was fine with us since we were only in our room to sleep. I had no complaints whatsoever, the staff was very friendly, and Casa Condado was a great find in Condado! Also, the Metro Bus to Old San Juan is a block away and only 75 cents!
Marriott defines hotel excellence. We have stayed at Marriott resorts all over the world and the reason we keep coming back is their dedication to serving their customers and exceeding their expectations. This is our third year in a row at the Stellaris. Each time, we stayed a week.

Usually visit the Island for business and coming to the hotel after a hard day of work is very pleasant.
