Among the top 5 five star resorts in Greece
This is a fantastic resort which I would rate among the top 5 in Greece - the gardens are piece of art and the location is great 40 min drive from Thessaloniki. The staff is very well skilled and very polite while the food is also first class.

Excellent Hotel
The property is excellent. Everything is done by high standards.We spent great time there. Beach is great and pools especially infinity is gorgeous. The area of the hotel is quite big and nice. Very clean, beautiful and green. The staff working in the hotel were really nice and polite. Wonderful experience here at Pomegranate Wellness Spa hotel. Such a kind and welcoming staff. Peaceful atmosphere and crystal clear sea. Amazing entertainment team . I recommend it to whoever wants to have a nice holiday in Halkidiki and I will definitely be back again at this hotel .

Girls weekend - a brilliant choice!
We spent 3 days at the hotel (got an amazing deal w Expedia) and cannot fault the hotel at any level. The staff were incredibly attentive, respectful and friendly, the facilities were great. We Spent a lot of time at the beach where you can get food and drinks served to your lounger overlooking the sea ( what else do you need?!). We also used the beautiful spa and in in the evenings when out for dinner in the nearby villages (it is not very near, car would’ve been helpful but there are plenty of taxis). Breakfast was included and delicious. I Definitely Recommend this hotel.

NICE HOTEL BUT NOT FOR US
THE STAFF AND THE SPA ARE THE BEST FEATURES OF THIS HOTEL The rooms are too dark- The children's pool was too small, it should be called a baby pool. I was traveling with a 6,9 and 13 yrs children. I am British and this hotel caters for the Russian market. No English children channels. Good job I brought my computer and the children's iPads. The food was good. - excellent starters and wonderful deserts, disappointing children's menu. chips, spaghetti ,mince and sauce every day but pizza three times in the 16 days... pretty poor really. The hotel was expensive for extras but its Halkidiki........ The beach area is this hotels down fall... it falls into a 3 star resort. overall it is a nice hotel - some parts of it is 5 star the rest between a 3-4 star... I loved the friendly staff but the regular clientele made it an unattractive stay. Recommend - stay at SANI BEACH if you have a family, plenty of direct size pools, a mixture of cultures, although majority of English but of a higher calibre. but book early , like a year in advance if you want a place. Its a little more expensive than here but worth it....

Staff were incredible! Very polite! Made our stay so relaxing and comfortable! We had cleaners every day in our room which was great! Pool side meals are reasonably priced and there is a great choice! Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone! It was our honeymoon and they helped make it very special. The spa is outstanding and very handy that we could access it every day whenever we wanted. This helped a lot when it rained the couple of days it did!

Wonderful experience
We loved this hotel. The service was excellent and staff are very friendly. The food is pretty good too. The spa is superb and high quality staff. The suggestions for improvement would be more evening entertainment, and improve the beach condition - it is near impossible and quite dangerous getting in and out of the water with the very large and very slippery rocks that are impossible to avoid. I saw several people fall. Most guests are Georgian/Russian. Not friendly but polite at least.

Lovely hotel in the middle of nowhere
Pros- Most amazing spa I've ever seen Very clean 35 mins from airport Incredible fountain show every night On beach So much space within hotel Cons- Caught a tummy bug in the hotel whilst there so could barely do anything, we were forced to eat in the hotel and sometimes the food was so bad I couldn't even eat it. Hotel isn't near anything, town is a taxi drive away- which we didn't do as was so unwell!

Beautiful hotel on beach
It was a really nice hotel with clean comfortable rooms that all had nice views of beach. Staff was super friendly and professional. The half board was much better than expected with lots of choices for everyone. I will definitely return to this hotel and btw it's very kid friendly as well.

Not a five star hotel, but still nice.
Our room was not cleaned and we had to call when we needed it cleaned. Tons of moskitos which ate us alive in a the hotel and around it. Management needs to act on this. The food was avderage, not gourmset. The beach steep down from hotel, but within a minute walk. Still a nice place. Tons of Russian tourist and staff almost naturally speaks Russian to everyone. The staff are the best a set to the hotel and also it's lobby.

The hotel is beautiful and as it's quite new so it looks very clean. The staff are polite and helpful. However the hotel mainly caters for Russians , as I guess they can afford to pay the high prices charged at this hotel. The prices of soft and alcoholic drinks is very expensive.. 12euro for a Mojito which wasn't even great! The Spa is great and we received a 1 day pass to use the spa but the price of treatments is even more expensive than London!

Lots of nice surprises each day
This was a last minute booking . I have eaten at the hotel Posiedin restaurant before and always been impressed by the hotel , it's gardens , public areas, and the sea views of course. So having already been there a few times before we were really impressed by the experience of staying as a guest. Each day we were treated to a few little extras that made our stay even better . Fresh fruit delivered to the room, champagne on Arrival at breakfast on Sunday , aperitifs before the evening meal . The quality and variety of food was beyond our expectations. We have eaten and stayed at many 5 star hotels in Greece before . By far this was the best .

Excellent hotel and service
We chose this hotel for a 5 night break to just chill and relax. We had a standard room on the ground floor,it was serviced twice a day,the bed was very comfortable and bathroom had a jacuzzi bath, good quality toiletries. Our room had patio doors opening into the gardens which were beautifully kept, the walls of flowers were lovely. The spa is the best we've experienced and the gym had really good quality machines and a number of free weights. We opted for half board, really good choice of breakfast, the evening meal was a buffet style with a really good and varied choice over the five nights. If you eat in the two other a la carte restaurants you get 30% discount. All of the staff were very friendly, the cleaners and gardeners would all say hello, we found that all the staff spoke english and very attentive. The beach although narrow was cleaned every day with a large number of beds all with shade. The hotel has a fountain display every evening, a different theme each night, this was followed by live entertainment every evening by the pool bar. The night club is located under the pool area and has been fitted out to a very high standard, on leaving the club we couldn't hear any music at all. During our stay it was my wife's birthday, the hotel delivered a bowl of fruit and a really lovely chocolate cake. The hotel is a very easy 40 min drive from the airport. Would we stay again, that's a definite yes.

travelling all the time i can only enjoy a really good hotel. This hotel scores on all fronts so: clean, beach, service, staff, pool, spa (my god it is excellent!!), food and kids club. I stayed almost a week in May 2015 and would love to come back which is not something i normally say but this hotel was immensely enjoyable. We are expats and travelled the world so value quality and this hotel did very well for us.

A real 5**** Hotel
We came only for a weekend but we were really surprised of the service. Great ambiente, very spacious rooms. Kind and helpful staff (they brought us umbrellas to the restaurant because it started raining). The Massages are a bit pricy, but on the other hand spa, sauna etc is included, also breakfast and good wifi. Great experience and we would like to come again. P.S. Most guests seemd to come with own car which is recommended (there is free parking), because the next village is a few kilometers away

We stayed here for 3 nights and the it's was value for money off season. It's very quiet in Nov-dec so the hotel was empty very ideal if you want to just go in and chill and enjoy the fantastic on site spa. The hotel is just quality everywhere you go and I will recommend it anyday. You will need to rent a car if you want to move about it's about 40 miles from thessaliniki airport and also to explore. The area it is situated is close to the beach but no activity and a bit run down cos of the economic situation in Greece I think.... There are restaurants and clubs on site so food is good. If you are driving you can also go to many authentic restaurants off site too.

An exceptional hotel.... Highly recommended
Firstly, thank you to all staff at the Pomegranate Spa Hotel. An exceptional hotel and most certainly worth every star given. Location easy to find if travelling from airport 50km. ALL Staff very polite and addressed any queries. Hotel maids were lovely, friendly and do a fantastic job, same for the restaurant and bar staff. Restaurants are great, good menus. Breakfast caters for every single taste, very well presented, again staff attentive. Rooms are very good, we had Garden View. Jacuzzi bath, all essentials included, slippers, bathrobe. Bed very comfy, safety box, good air conditioning. Pools are nice size, sunbeds are comfy, plenty of them. Beautiful view over beach. Beach is clean and sea water clear for swimming. Pool restaurant is lovely at sunset for meal. Free Wifi all areas of hotel and on the beach, this worked well. Free beach towels each day. Lounge areas around the reception and the outdoor area are comfy, well situated and in the garden are nice chill out areas. The gardens and trees are a beautiful setting with seating. Animation staff are available to encourage sport or yoga, or just chat throughout the day. But not pushy. Fountain light display each night is great to watch. Supermarket onsite has all essentials and a few treats. Spa Park is an amazing treat, everything you could wish for from a spa treat. Try everything it is fantastic, again all staff friendly and attentive. I honestly cannot fault this hotel. It exceeded all my expectations thank you.

Perfect for relaxation
It was perfect for a chilled short holiday away. There isn't much to do outside the hotel, unless you go to the city near by, Private beach is good, there's a pier to jump off. Swimming pool is really good water, clean :) The service is good, everything is clean and to a good standard. We were very happy with out stay.

5 star hotel with 1 star service
The hotel is truly built to correspond to 5 star requirements, however the management did not make a point to hire personnel with customer service skills. With the exception of the animation staff, everyone else had a snooty and downright condescending attitude. The room was supposed to have a park view, in stead it was looking into someone's backyard and the location of it was close to the Lobby and as such very noisy till after midnight with loud music and early in the morning when lots of screaming kids. As other reviewers already noted this hotel exclusively caters to Russian guests with zero consideration to anyone else. The staff does not speak English in the restaurant and around the hotel. The cleanliness of the room was questionable at best. There was no consistency in delivering the mandatory amenities and the garbage was not emptied some times for more than 2 days. The coffee machine works only with coffee capsules and you are given only 4 a day with no option to have more even if you are willing to pay. There were hairs in the bathroom that did not belong to us at all times and the soap was one as well as one loaf for 2 people. The shower itself is smaller than a telephone booth, so if you happen to need to bend, you have to open the door to be able to do so ( I am 120 pounds and even I could not manage to contort without hitting a wall!). The man at the reception maintained eye contact only with his computer, providing sarcastic remarks when questioned.

Cleaning services are provided daily to all our rooms & suites and we also provide turn down service in the afternoon. 95% of our staff speak fluent & conversational English and the spread of different nationality clients is wider, including several balkan & central European countries as well! Etwas irritierent war, dass es sich mitten in Griechenland offenbar um ein russich geführtes Hotel handelt, was sich in der Hauptsprache des Personals und dem Speiseangebot widerspiegelte. Die Gesamtanlage (Hotelgebäude., Außenbereich ((Gartenanlage)), Hotelzimmer), Service, Aufmerksamkeit des Personals, Speisenangebot wurde durchaus dem Anspruch eines 5 Sterne-Hotels gerecht. Der durchgängig überaus positive Gesamteindruck, ohne Abstriche in einem Bereich, wird dazu führen, im kommenden Jahr 2018 erneut einzuchecken. Im Speiserestaurant das Personal, hier mögen Olga, Anastasia stellvertretend auch für die männlichen Kollegen stehen, war lobenswert, aber auch das Personal am Strand und der Zimmerservice hat den Aufenthalt so angenehm gemacht, dass von einem durchgängig tollen Aufenthalt - ohne Abstriche - gesprochen werden kann. Ein völlig unproblematischer Aufenthalt.

Wir haben Pech mit unsere Junior Suite Nr.110 Sehr schön aber, .ein Motor daneben deshalb haben wir gewünscht ein andere Unterkunft. wir bekamen andere Zimmer aber ab 22Uhr fing an in einem Pavillon fast ofen mit Glas, Musik sehr Laut bis 24 Uhr... Nächsten Tag wechselten das Zimmer war ruhig ,aber ein sehr unangenehm Geruch im Bad .
