“very clean, good base but no restaurant or bar!”

there are no facilities for eating or drinking in the hotel - just a club next door which you are not allowed in without ID! - go to Putty Beach - we saw dolphins there, take the 1.5km walk through jungly cliff top walk to maitland bay. the hotel terrace sweets are the best - 2 room apt with all facilities and great view. i was disappointed with the local ammenities . except the putty beach cafe which has an AMAZING breakfast and is very friendly.

“Well equipped room”

Recently stayed at The Mantra Ettalong for the thitd time and still found it one of the better places to stay at on the Central Coast. The rooms are spacious and very well equipped with cooking facilities, laundry and everything you need to relax and enjoy your stay. This time we had a Hinterland view room and found the outlook from the balcony just as pleasing as the sea view rooms. Mountains and trees were the scenery we enjoyed whilst sitting on the spacious balcony and enjoying the peace. Amazingly no noise from the street below.

Area recommendations

I would recommend a visit (or stay) at Terrigal or the neighbouring areas such as Avoca Beach for the abundance of good restaurants and activity. Much to see and do and the beaches there are quite spectacular.

“Not impressed”

I'm not impressed with staff at all very rude. I'm only saying this because my family have been to so many hotels around Sydney and NSW and this experience was not good at all. But thank you Expedia you are the best.

“Hotel is ok but expensive for what it is.”

These guys charged us an extra $10 per hour for a late check-out. Travelled around the world and never heard of anything like it. The bar fridge was empty! For this nightly rate I'd expect at least a diet Coke in there and also a hotel restaurant.
