The hotel seems to be in the midst of repairs, and there was a water leak that left the host at the front desk very upset. Although the room was very small, the bed was comfortable.

Remodeling
They are in the process of remodeling which is badly needed. The only rooms available were not remodeled yet. The first room we were in the TV didn't work. The TVs are only 19" I believe. However, the housekeeping staff needs training very badly. The bathroom floor was not very clean. Good water pressure in the shower. Perhaps the remodeling will make this a nicer place.

Definitely not worth the $170. Not clean. Tub had water in it and was plugged. Many parts of building were not in good condition. Breakfast was very little and was in a hallway type area, by the laundry. They are under construction so hopefully that changes when its done.

Terrible stay! I booked a weekend stay to bring my 81 year old mom to visit her grandkids in Cedar Rapids and when we returned for the night a horde of very noisy and scary bikers rolled in without reservations and were given rooms surrounding our room, they were up all night slamming into the walls and screaming in the hallway. We were terrified. The next morning I asked if we could change rooms if they were going to be there another night, the front desk girl said she couldn’t tell me if they were staying again but I could wait until the next girl comes in and it wouldn’t be a problem to change rooms because they had 21 available. The bikers were all in the breakfast area barefoot and dirty, we hurried out for the day, when we returned the next front desk girl said the motorcycle gang had checked out so we didn’t need to change rooms, however, she didn’t mention that they had put new guests right next door to us that had a yapping dog and little kids that were up screaming and barking until past 3 am! Never again!

Safety, maintenance and cleanliness not a priority. They had no idea there was no safety lock in our second room. First room had major paint peeling from the shower area (forgot to take a photo). Needs updating

Check in was okay. Did not work to check in at first. On one was at the desk when we checked out in the morning. Found someone’s car key in our room. Room wasn’t very clean. Dust and dead bugs by the bed. Wall had food on them. Beds were hard. Not that bad but the pillows were so flat it was like they have been used for multiple years. Will not be coming back for the price I paid. The new girl was very kind and had no problems with her. Not much food for a complimentary breakfast. Coffee maker did not work. There was only bread or making a waffle at 7:30 am.

Needs a facelift
Outside look is very deceiving. The inside is in rough condition. There is rust on the door jams, paints in peeling off the walls. The carpet is so dirty you feet are black.

They were out of coffee, the kids for the coffee cups were for a different kind of cup. Found long hairs in the sheets and the sheets were frayed on the edges and looked very used. Likes the soap and lotion scent.

First the key didn’t work, then the toilet still had toilet paper and dead bugs in it. I tried to flush the toilet but it didn’t work, plus there were bugs on the floor. They kindly gave me another room. There was a greasy hand print on the wall and a dirty mirror over the bed. At that point I couldn’t stay. The staff was accommodating in the transition from room to room, but I literally had anxiety at how uncomfortable I was in the second room.

the continental breakfast was a blueberry muffin with coffee that was like mud water, when ask about this with the girl working nights her answer was in a very snobbish way ,well that s all there is. Ive stayed there several times before under the old management and it was very nice. I wont stay there again. Need to talk to the personnel about attitudes. I told her it would be in the review. She stated with a shrug ,okay!

Very nice place. New owners. A couple of minor things. Bathroom sink drained really slow. A hole in the wall from previous guests the owners did not know about. No big deal. Bed was very comfy!

Clean but charged more than on hotels.com website.
Room was in dire need of repair. Walls are paper thin you could easily hear conversations in next room when they were speaking in a normal voice. Bed and bath were clean.
