When we walked in our door was open the light to come into the room was broken. We could hear everyone else around us the furniture was stained and dirty

Key cards needed to be reset too often, no soap in room, and bed spread was a little stained. Overall stay was good, location was good, and staff were friendly.

I liked that we were right next to the pool. The pool was not huge but we were the only ones in it the both times that we swam and it did the job. It was quiet and not a lot of guests. The breakfast was amazing for a free continental breakfast- tons of options. The only downfall was that they gave us a handicapped (which was very spacious which we enjoyed) room so the shower was very shallow and lots of water would leak all over the floor when me and my daughter would shower. I would definitely stay here again! For only like 150$ish for 2 nights on a weekend you should do it too.

This was an adequate, inexpensive place to stay with our infant daughter. There was a slight musty smell when we entered the room, but we got used to it quickly. The room was clean but we did see a couple of very small roaches. One consideration is that roaches like moist environments, which frequent cleaning can cause. So we simply don’t know if the problem was from inadequate cleaning.

I was planning to stay at your hotel because I needed to see my vascular surgeon on Monday morning and we live several hours away. On Sunday night around 5:30pm on our way to Iowa City I struck a deer, totaling my car but my daughter and I were thankfully unharmed. Due to the time of night and needing to get my car towed 2 hours back home I was unable to complete my trip and therefore not stay at the hotel. My daughter called for me as I was shaken up and was told we’d still have to pay. I understand the policy but strongly feel exceptions should be made for certain situations. I could easily show the police report if needed. It’s situations like this that define a business and while the $80 will not break the bank, it’s $80 and I’ll choose to go elsewhere next time I’m in town for an appointment.

Bargain motel experience, but not price
For the price, we expected a place where we could actually sleep. In stead we got a room with paper-thin walls and floors. We could hear everything or neighbors did. Someone was playing loud music in the parking lot until 3am. The rooms were relatively clean but the floor was sticky.
