“Good deal for the price !!!!!!!!!!”

It was happy to actually find a hotel in Athens over the weekend and I found this hotel being a very pleasant place to stay.The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable too. I loved the hospitality and care of the hotel staff. It was great and made the whole experience better. Good deal for the price.

Area recommendations

Kindly visit the Henderson County Historical Museum. It near to the hotel. I think it is 0. 75 miles. It good palce to visit.

When to go

You can visit this hotel anytime. It is Conveniently located.

“Clean room....nothing else.”

Very clean rooms. A+ to the housekeeping staff. D to the maintenance of the rooms. We fought with the A/C consistantly, and neighbors complained of the same thing. 90 degrees outside & people had doors open to try to keep the rooms cool. Broken cabinets & fixtures everywhere. Bring a flash light, light switches are impossible to find in the dark & no where near the door. Check & and check out were a joke, obviously a family operation with zero professionalism. There was no "continential breakfast". The only bright side was the exceptionally clean rooms. If you don't care about anything else, this would be the place for you.

“Will not stay there again!!”

I reserved a King suite on bottom floor, handicap room for 2 Adults and 1 child, non-smoking! I got a 2-bed room, smoking, on the 2nd floor. Only was given 1 key and did not work 2nd day had to get it rekeyed. Then 2nd night the A/C stopped working at 4a.m. Fortunately, my handicap Mother did not come with me! It was not a pleasent stay! The continental breakfast was not good, not much to choose from and the only thing hot was the toast! Coffee was warm! I will not stay at Americas Best Value Inn in Athens, TX again!
