We were upgraded because we asked for twin beds but upon check in there was only 1 queen. The upgraded room had two balconies and a view of the lake. It was lovely and we enjoyed our stay immensely, wish we'd stayed longer instead of moving onto Geneva. Staff were very helpful, only downside was the sometimes questionable little lift which we could not get to come or work out whether it was working. Very elegant, quaint hotel in a stunning place.
My wife and I stayed here for two nights and despite our initial difficulty finding the place were really happy with the hotel. Close to the ferry and St Marks Square it is an ideal place to base yourself for a stay in Venice, the rooms were spacious (for Europe) and clean and the staff could not have been more helpfull. My only advice s make sure you have a map before you arrive in Venice or you might find yourself dragging a suitcase through miles of narrow streets, no fault of the hotel it is just a bit of a maze in Venice.
We travel a lot! We have stayed in many hotels around the world. This hotel was in our top 2 all time favorites. Splurge for the lake view rooms or suites. It is absolutely worth it. Our room was luxurious and had a nice balcony with lake and mountain views. Hotel staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay here again!

Experience We booked into the hotel for a one night stop-over on route to Italy. The hotel is a conference center and is geared to business users, at the time of our visit there were a number of delegates (from 3 different companies) attending training or seminars but this was not a problem to us traveling as a couple. It is in an elevated position close to the motorway, with large grounds and fantastic views across the lake. It was easy to find and has ample parking.
The room was a good size, large very comfortable bed, ample storage and free wi-fi. The staff were very helpful and English was widely spoken.
It has a nice bar over looking the lake. The restaurant had a reasonably priced set meal which was very nice. A good buffet breakfast was included in the price.
I would recommend this hotel for a stop-over.
