First time staying at this resort and was not disappointed. The queen sweet was nice a cozy with a full kitchen, living room, fire place and was very clean. The pool and two hot tubs were fantastic right on the hill side. Breakfast in the morning was delicious and the Starbucks coffee, tea and hot chocolate with marshmallows was a nice touch! We plan on coming back again in January and probably will never stay at another hotel in whistler!
my friend and I went away for a couple of days, and the pan pacific was litrally at the center of everything. In addition, the hotel provided us with a complimentary shuttle to our spa day at the scandinave.
The Sundail is well run, modern hotel next to the Pan Pacific and the Blackcomb and Whistler gondolas. The rooms were clean and in a condition that is above average for Whistler village. The staff were thoughtful and accommodating (ie. Cleaned your room when you would like vs. imposing their schedule on you). If a repair was needed, the staff addressed it immediately. We had a one bedroom unit - the downside was the layout, it had an ackward living room but the bed and pullout bed were comfortable. The Sundial is a sound alternative to the Pan Pacific next door.
We had a very good time. This place is inside the village and it is very convenience to everything. If you want to cook and stay for weeks this is an excellent place. Very clean, front desk people are very helpful. You have to pay for your parking. Security wise this is very good. we had a good comfortable and sleep. If you need internet, you have to pay extra.
We have stayed at the Whistler Holiday Inn on 4 occasions and each visit has been excellent. The host staff are alert, friendly and accommodating. We were two couple making the trip to celebrate two birthdays and asked if we could be on the same floor when we checked in. No problem, and quickly we were settled in. The studio rooms were cozy, the kitchen well equipped and the fireplace was a wonderful homey touch. The location in Whistler Village is to die for, the price is reasonable and so our trip once again met all our expectations and have added our friends to the fan club!
