We loved Chioggia! It's a bit of Venice without throngs of tourists, endless souvenir shops, and inflated prices. The room was clean, tastefully decorated, and they had the only insect screens we saw in 3 weeks touring the region. (The mosquitos ate us alive in Venice a couple of weeks earlier.) We were totally happy with Caldin's and would stay there again.

Our room was on the 4th floor with a view of the sea. Not the biggest room in the world but perfectly adequate. A balcony just big enough for two. A reserved space on the beach with free loungers and shade. The beach service guys will show you where and set it up for you. Make sure you get a receipt from the hotel and exchange it in the beach kiosk. Breakfast was OK. I never left hungry although I am really British about eating continental breakfasts - toast and jam for me lol. I did enjoy the fresh fruit and the croissants as well. The coffee was incredible. Our bathroom was really clean and plenty big enough. The shower was hot and powerful. The staff were all very friendly but this seems to be a holiday destination for Italians. Not too many people from elsewhere and I didn't here English being spoken by anyone other than than us and one American family. This wasn't a problem at all even though not too many of the staff could speak English too well. Between our bad Italian, their bad English, hand signs, writing and a few laughs we managed to sort things out every time.
Stayed here for 3 nights mid September whilst visiting Venice. Great to be able to have breakfast outside in quiet location. Very good selection and served at the table which made a nice change from the usual buffet style. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Rooms were small but smallest one was changed on request. Agriturismo with cockerels and hens directly under bedroom windows which woke us early! For this reason could not recommend.

Travelled with my wife and two kids. The place is not fancy, but very clean, and quiet, and is right next to the beach. The ferry to Venice is about a 15 minute drive. The ferry was a fun way to get to San Marco in Venice (about 30 minutes boat ride, with a cost of 7 euro each way, free for kids up to 6 years old. Parking near the ferry was an extra 5 euro for the day)
If you want party central, then this isn't your place. But if you want a place that has a nice playroom for kids, a playground, and a beach, and with no drunk or loud people, then this would be suitable.
My husband and I are Honeymooning in Italy and made our first stop in Jesolo. Allesandra exchanged a few emails with me beforehand and greated us as if we had met a million times. She was beyond helpful and even packed us a lunch since we would miss the breakfast that was included with our room.
The pool on the top floor is awesome....exactly as shown on the website and has a shelf the length of the pool with jacuzzi jets that cycle on every 20 minutes or so.
The room itself was simplistic. Quaint dining table...mini kitchen complete with stove, dishwasher and refrigerator. The balcony was nice...our view overlooked a small piazza. Shops are nice. Food was good...beach was beautiful
Overall it was great....if you book your trip (and you should) Please tell the lovely Allesandra we said Ciao.
