“Convenient to airport and the city”

5 minutes from Catania Fontanarossa Airport by car, but they do have a shuttle. Which you should use, because the parking here is limited, and they can get filled up...in which case, I don't know where you would park. The restaurant was good (although I was the only person in it!), and another friend of mine stayed here one night and I helped her check in...she asked for a non-smoking room and the desk clerk said in stilted English that it's no problem - you just "open a window!" I heard another guest complain to the desk about the smoke smell in the room, but the one I was in didn't smell bad.

Traveller's tip
Go into Catania at night (the Baroque architecture is pretty when it's all lit up) and be like a Catanian: have an almond granita with an espresso poured on top, and a brioche.

“Nice Beach nice surroundings”

Hotel is set in nice surroundings, with a small swimming pool. From 15 June - 15 September there is free entrance to Lido Azzarro, just across the busy main road. You can buy tickets for the buses into Catania town from Tabacchi in the Lido Azzarro. The Hotel is very close to the airport, and the Hotel has a Airport shuttle service. Breakfast was ok, with fresh fruit for the first few days, and also the water for making tea was also luke warm. Don't bother to eat at the Hotel Restaurant, eat in Catania or goto Hotel Romano Palace.

Traveller's tip
Go to Auchan Supermaket, outside the Hotel turn right, you will pass the Public Swimming Pool, take the small road next to it, you will see the Hotel Romano Palace on the left, when you get to the bottom of the road, walk through the park woods keeping to the left path way, walk for about 10 minutes and you will come to a gate which leads into the carpark and you will see Auchan, where you can eat in there Restaurants, cheaply.

“hotel a la playa, catania”

l'hotel è in una struttura in bella posizione sul lungomare, bello esternamente, con giardini e piscina, ma le camere sono piuttosto fatiscenti e non molto pulite. Può essere adatto ad un soggiorno turistico, ma nel mio caso (soggiorno per lavoro) non lo raccomando

“ottimo per riposare e godersi il mare”

molto organizzato per quanto riguarda la spiaggia, in quanto offre ombrellone e sdraio nel lido sito davanti all'hotel, ove si può trovare di tutto (animatori per bambini ed adulti, balli di gruppo, bar, ristorante, tabaccaio e altro). La cena (usufruivamo della mezza pensione) abbondante e cucinata molto bene. Unico neo: se non si possiede l'automobile intorno non vi è nulla (non è un lungomare dove si passeggia !) anche se, fino alle 22, vi sono 2 autobus che passano davanti al lido per andare in centro. Suggerito, quindi, per chi ha bambini piccoli che, dopo aver passato la giornata nella organizzatissima spiaggia, la sera vanno a letto.
