Honestly this was a very beautiful hotel! All the staff were so kind especially the man in the golf cart who saw us struggling to climb up the hill just to get to this hotel! There are transportation stations but no signs that state that I was aware of. The restaurant they had at the hotel was closed so that was a bummer as well as the water needing to be turned off during our 1 night stay. Other than that bed was comfy and the room was beautiful. There was makeup stains on one of the shower towels but since it was only two of us we didn’t need that one. Staff were such a delight and the pool was heated so that was also a plus :)

A great place to stay at a great value! Clean and accommodating with friendly staff. In a peaceful environment that’s a little far from town, but a shuttle with friendly drivers is available to take you there. Highly recommend staying here!

The Catalina Canyon Inn was a great place to stay! As soon as we got off the ferry there was a shuttle waiting to take us to the hotel and the shuttle drivers were very helpful and convenient they would always make trips into downtown and the front desk staff were very accommodating. The only issues I had with the property was that the walls were a little thin we could hear people snoring next door! But otherwise amazing!

Property is away from Avalon boardwalk so it’s much quieter than other options. They have a shuttle to and from the property but if you want to get your steps in, you can walk

The property was gorgeous but the only downfall was that you have to go downtown to get your food to bring to your hotel room because there isn't anything close to get if you are hungry.

I like that they have a shuttle that can take you to town. It can be off putting for people to see how “far” it is, it’s not even a bad walk it’s just kind of steep, but they have a shuttle service ( a van) with a number you can call anytime, the van driver actually took us to Vons and picked us up instead of one of the designated spots because it was like 9:00pm so they are very hospitable and accommodating.

The property and the room were really nice. We liked the outdoor garden feeling even though it rained the next morning. However, the staff was hit and miss. One person would be really nice and welcoming but as soon as we turned around and talked to someone else, it was the complete opposite. Some were borderline rude.

Very clean and good price for off season they allow pets. nice shower and very comfortable bed, the hotel provides transportation to downtown area and boat dock every 20 minutes. Would stay again !!

Slept well, ample pillows, comfortable bed. Enjoyed the pool, the setting surrounding us was beautiful. The ride to check in from the harbor was welcome. After walking down to town the next day we had our bearings and it all felt very walkable, but the taxi shuttle was easily available. Of special note, this is close to Wrigley’s Botanical Garden and the golf course. Gave it a full 5 though I’d say 4.5 for missing the restaurant which will open soon.

This hotel was a great experience for me. The room clean and comfortable . I especially enjoyed the view from the balcony. It was surrounded by lush green trees and plants. The staff was friendly and helpful. I was grateful for the free transportation to and back from downtown where all the attractions were even though it was a short 10-15 minute walk that I also did. The walk to downtown was scenic and I felt safe as well.
