“So impressed and loved every minute!”

My husband and I opted to stay here while we were touring the country for 11 days for a break from the hustle bustle of driving here and there. Easily, the best decision we ever made and easily the best experience at a resort I have ever had. Accommodations are prime and the staff is highly professional and extremely friendly. The airport had lost both of my bags when we landed in Dublin and upon our arrival to Castelmartyr, the staff had provided the essentials for me in the room before ever even needing to ask. The resort is peaceful, serene, and relaxing and the breakfasts in the morning are superb. My husband and I don't like to stay at the same place twice. We always look to experience something new. But, if we ever make it back to Ireland, we will definitely try to stay here again and we are recommending it to all friends and family! Amazing!! Go and see for yourself.

Area recommendations
Don't go to Cork....not worth your time. Go see Blarney if not for the castle, the countryside is beautiful and the town is cheerful and quaint. Waterford is close and a doable day trip. GO to Kensale! We were only there for a short time on our way out from Cork and wished we had spent most of our day there. Lots of restaurants, nice walks, and the harbor town is lively with lots of shops, pubs, and restaurants. Sample some of the local seafood. We ate at the Fishy Fishy cafe and would highly recommend the Seafood Chowder! Have a pint of Bulmers for us!
