“Hotel Villa Maya - Quiet and Comfortable”

Nice Hotel. Helpful staff. They quickly got the air conditioner working and recommended an excellent local restaurant for dinner.

“Hotel de charme a la campagne”

Hotel de charme a la campagne, un peu loin de Pise mais si on a une voiture pas de souci. Bon petit dej, parc superbe et tres bon accueil.

“viel Stil zum guten Preis”

Das Hotel ist eine Villa mit mehreren Zimmern , jeweils mit Bad und Dusche. Tradition und Moderne sind gelungen verbunden. Die Zimmer sind stilvoll mit alten Möbeln ( Schrank, Anrichte, Nachttischchen , Sesseln) ausgestattet.TV und DVD-player gab es auch, dezent an der Wand montiert. Alte Häuser sind natürlich nicht geräuschlos. Insofern empfiehlt es sich, Ohropax dabei zu haben. Das Rezeptionspersonal war freundlich, aufgeschlossen und sehr hilfsbereit. Umgeben ist die Villa von einem wunderschönen , gepflegten Garten. Das Hotel ist gut erreichbar und es ist sehr gut ausgeschildert. Das große Frühstück ist südlich geprägt, also Croissants, Weißbrot, Zwieback oder Kuchen. Es gab auch täglich Schinken, Eier sowie verschiedene Sorten Marmelade.Außerdem gab es täglich Äpfel ond Orangen und einige Sorten Joghurt.Heiße Getränke kamen aus dem Automaten ! Saft gab es nur in angerührter Form. Ich hätte mir gewünsct, dass es auch Halbpension gibt, also die Chance auf ein italienisches Abendbrot. Zu unserem italienischen Abendbrot sind wir täglich gefahren, von der urigen Pizzeria bis zur gehobenen Osteria / Ristorante. Ohne Mietauto geht es nicht. Die Lage, ca 12 km von Pisa entfernt ist günstig für Exkursionen nach Florenz, Siena, San Gimignano, Volterra, Bolgheri, zur Westküste oder ins Chianti. Südlich von Livorno befinden sich herrliche Naturstrände, meist als parco naturale ausgewiesen. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen
