“very clean and modern hotel”
This is the best quality / price ratio hotel I found. The service is fine, the morning breakfast buffet is good, the rooms are VERY clean. The surrounding is dirty, as it is not downtown but next to the harbour and the Medina.
“Great for the price paid”
Had a fuse problem in the room twice. When report it the second time, I was offered to change room immediately with a view to the harbor and mosque. Very responsive receptionist.
“very comfortable!”
room was great! staff were very helpful. Price to Airport from Novotel is stated at 250 but the taxi drivers sometimes demand 300 dh...so watch for that.
“Nice hotel, lousy neighborhood”
The hotel is very modern and comfortable, but the neighborhood has lots of constuction going on. This area is under rennovation as is the marina. The only restaurants to eat at are within the hotels, except for a seedy little area close to the hotels where I would not eat. The famous cafe from the movie of this city name was within walking distance, but was very upscale and proper attire nesessary. However, the huge mosque is a MUST to see and it is located on the water.
“Compared well to other hotels in Morocco”
We had a very good experience here. No complaints at all.
“Very pleasant stay”
Very smart hotel and good service. Rooms were clean and well presented and quiet as long as you keep the windows closed. Rooms have A/C so not a problem. Lovely bar - good vibe however they did close rather early - 11pm. There are some very good seafood restaurants nearby, however for more options it is better to head towards the beach which is a 10-15 minute taxi ride away. In a petit taxi it costs around Dhr30. Would definitely go back.
“Great place to stay in Casablanca”
We stayed for 3 nights in early April. Staff members were always polite and helpful, providing excellent advice and directions to places to visit and restaurants. The bedroom was small but had all we needed and had an excellent view over the old medina and Hassan II mosque. We only ate breakfast at the hotel. It was a buffet with a good choice of food. Location was very good for seeing the city. We were impressed and would go there again.
“Good clean hotel!”
Hotel is very nice. You can see its well run and the staff came running out with the baggage carrier. Everything was super clean which is delightful.
“Hotel Good, Front Desk Staff Surly”
Overall good. Very kind with my son. Internet was quick (but I did use the in-room internet). Location was outstanding for the train station and the beaches. The only complain is the front desk staff act like prima donna. I was traveling with my 3 year old son. They made a point to inform me that "This is a business hotel," not a family hotel. I observed they served guests looking like business people much faster than travelers / vacationers. Other guests reported the same experience. The breakfast was excellent, although overpriced for the going rate in the city. Overall, great. The management just needs to do something about the front desk.
“Great location and nice hotel!”
The Novotel Casablanca City Center had a great location. Walking distance to Rick's Cafe, and close to the medina. (Medina not that safe at night, but hotel location ok). The front staff were very helpful and friendly. Nice lobby bar, but the restaurant service was a bit slow. Very good stay overall. Rooms were nice and clean. Comfortable bed. Toilet location in the room was a bit odd, but the bathroom was nice. The Novotel is just a two minute walk from Casa Port train station. From the larger train station, Casa Voyages, it is about a 10 min taxi ride. Walking distance to the Hassan Mosque (about 15 min). Also close to the water and a short taxi ride to La Corniche area which is nice for restaurants and walking.
