“Hotel is good enough for a couple of days”

The hotel was just a minute from the beach and in walking distance from city centre. It felt safe as they had security guards 24/7. Breakfast was simple with a boiled egg, croissant, some local cakes, baguette and a glass of orange juice. Overall the hotel was in ok condition and in a quiet neighbourhood. The staff was friendly so except from the bad experience with Expedia itself, the hotel is worth staying at when you are visiting El Jadida.

Area recommendations
Would recommend the Portuguese Cistern in the old medina. Also check out Sidi Bouzid. Very nice beaches.
When to go
Try no to go during the Ramadan period. Most of the restaurants are closed during lunch time and only junk food can be found. Check this out before you go!!!
Getting around
Use the local taxis (petit taxi). They give you a good price. Also ask the hotel. They give you plenty of advice. very friendly!
Outdoors or beach
Sidi Bouzid has the best beach but the water is colder since it is the atlantic. The local beach in El Jadida is nice and have warm water but is very crowded.

“BAD EXPERIENCE IN MOROCCO”

IT WAS HANDY FOR THE BEACH IS BEST YOU CAN SAY ABOUT IT! rECEPTION STAFF COULD ONLY SPEAK FRENCH EVEN THOUGH MY HUSBAND IS ARAB BORN AND FLUENT ARABIC SPEAKER, THEY DIDNOT HELP WITH ANY PROBLEMS THAT AROSE, THEY HAD NO IDEA OF LOCAL HISTORY OR THINGS TO DO AND COULD NOT OFFER INFORMATION AS TO GET TOURIST INFO OR TRIPS OUT. BE CAREFUL WHEN USING THE SHOWER AS 1 DAY IS SCAULDING NEXT IT IS FREEZING NO CONSISTENCY THE CLEANING STAFF WERE THE ONLY GOOD THING ABOUT A TIRED OUT OLD HOTEL THAT HAS SEEN BETTER DAYS THERE IS PARKING FOR GENERAL PUBLIC ON PAVEMENT OUTSIDE THE GATE SO YOU CANT WALK ON IT AND IT IS A VERY BUSY ROAD. GO THERE AT YOUR PERIL IT IS AWFULL!!

I am afraid to hear that you have been unsatisfied with our services. I would like to assure you that our hotel employs qualified and professional front desk staff that not only master Arabic which is their mother tongue language but also master other European languages such as French, English, .....etc. So as a member of the management team I found it very strange that there was a language barrier. On the other hand, I understand that on your arrival, you have been given a choice of many rooms, you have been provided with all extra towels and hangers you requested; and the reception staff were extremely helpful. However, You have asked to be upgraded to the Junior suite, but refused to pay the extra charge (either direct to hotel or via Expedia), which made you unhappy. Again, I am sorry to hear that your experience in our hotel was unsatisfactory, but would like to advise all our clients that our entire personnel are customer service orientated and are fully committed to provide the best service ever to each one of you but of course as in every hotel there will be always somebody who is not satisfied. I thank you for allowing me to reply to you complaint, and hope that your next stay at El Jadida will be a great one.

“Hervorragende Lage”

Das Hotel liegt sehr günstig. Verschiedene Besichtigungspunkte sind gut erreichbar. Auch der nahe Park gleicht den engeren Hofbereich mit Pool aus. Das Haus zeigt eine sehr interessante Architektur.

“10 mn de la Cité Portugaise et 3 mn pour la plage (à pied)”

Ce hôtel est bien situé à proximité de la plage, souk, Cité Portugaise et le terminus des bus qui se trouve juste à côté de la Cité Portugaise. Prendre le bus N°9 pour se rendre la la Gare El Jadida. Conserver bien votre ticket car un contrôle est très fréquent par des contrôleurs qui ne sont pas en uniforme ni de plaque.

Area recommendations
Pour aller à la plage de Sidi Bouzid, prendre le bus N°2 qui se trouve à la grande station de terminus des bus d'El Jadida à côté de la Cité Portugaise (il faut compter de 20 à 25mn pour le trajet) puis descendre à la pharmacie qui se trouve au feu rouge à droite du rond point (où il y a souvent des autres voyageurs marocains qui descendent là eux aussi) avant le terminus puis aller en face après la Gendarmerie et l'hôtel Florence en montant vous verrez une belle plage moins de monde. Sinon descendre au terminus et demander le chemin pour la plage par une petite ruelle qui débute par une pharmacie (une autre).

“pas parfait mais correct”

Nous avons réservé 3 chambres doubles, hélas, pour l'une des trois, la climatisation ne marchait pas. on nous a proposé d'envoyer le réparateur pendant notre repas, mais il n'est pas venu, on ne nous a pas proposé de changer de chambre. De plus la piscine ferme à 19h, c'est-à-dire à notre arrivée. A part ces petits soucis, le reste s'est bien passé.

“bon hotel mais la salle de bain une horreur en bord de mer bruyant”

c est un hotel en renovation,propre ,situe en bord de mer, sur un rond point tres frequente,j ai ete decu par la salle de bain une horreur et sale rideau de douche et jet de douche tres usage; drap et serviette changees ts les jour,un salle de repas honete,petit dejeuner copieux et un personnel tres gentils. sinon je le recommande.....

“Accueil très agréable”

Bon hôtel, bonnes prestations, accueil très agréable et attentionné. Tout le personnel est sympathique et disponible.
