Excellent location for exploring Arezzo. Arezzo is full of local restaurants and shops; not touristy but lots to do and see. There is no valet parking for the hotel; you have to park your car by yourself in a free garage which is quite far or nearby garage for €20/day. The staff are very helpful. The amenities are pretty complete. They give slippers too which are very useful since the floors are rather sticky. The room that I stayed has two floors and quite small so it would be a challenge going up and down especially with bad knee. There is no elevators at all. Coffee/tea facilities are outside the room. Though it is not perfect, but I'd stay here again because of the location.

A very friendly, welcoming family hotel, couldn't have asked for a more pleasant stay. I would recommend this hotel to all my friends.
A couple of minutes from the Piazza Grande, close to restaurants and shops.

hotel portico was a very nice hotel in a great location in arezzo. the staff was very friendly. my only complaint is that because it is in such a great location the noise on the street was a little much for me. i wouldn't change the hotel based on this, i would just ask for an inside room. everything else was perfect!

Stayed for four nights and were thoroughly impressed with Le Corniole. It was very much an apartment rather than a room, with a separate bedroom vs kitchen/diner, a modern and well equipped kitchen (we'd been expecting a tiny kitchenette). Everything was spotless.
Our room faced out over the train tracks but whilst we heard them occasionally they really didn't bother us - they were no louder than the air conditioning (for example), thanks to the shutters and double glazing.
The chap on reception was extremely helpful - we found the locals in Arezzo to be very welcoming, but even by their standards he was excellent.
The restaurant downstairs is also worth a mention - absolutely full of locals every day at lunch, which is the best recommendation you can get!
