"I liked the location-1/2 block off the square. Safe, quiet, good parking availability. We walked to a good bar and grille for dinner. Decor was cute, or as we in the family call it, artsy fartsy. The entry stairs are very scary for the 70 group carrying bags upstairs. And for some reason the a/c didn’t seem to be up to par in the middle of the night. But, a table fan was provided. Other parts of the day it’s fine. The wooden bed side rails are hard for little old ladies to negotiate without getting bruises on the back of the thighs. I did like the little Civil War Museum next door. I love places that have character, and this one had plenty. We enjoyed it, and I would recommend it for the younger or more agile set."
