The overall time was nice however checkin was a nightmare. After booking through expedia I made the three hour drive to the hotel. Checkin was a nightmare. The staff was not trained, first the receptionist told me she couldn't find my reservation after calling the manager she all the sudden found it but told me she that my card number doesn't match, when I only have one card. Eventually after an argument and me showing them my confirmation they just gave me my room key. I don't believe I would ever stay there again.

The hotel is small but clean and conveniently located off the interstate. The continental breakfast was good and they had a nice variety of food to pick from. I especially liked being able to make a Belgian waffle. I was a little disappointed that we had to walk through the parking lot to get to the swimming pool which I feel is a little unsafe...especially if you have small children. I think a separate entrance from the building or lobby would be better.
The room was clean and comfortable for our family. Although we booked a non-smoker room, the room next door to us was a smoking room and the hallway reeked of cigarette smoke. I think having smokers on the top floor would be better for those of us who don't want to be smelling nasty, cigarette smoke.
Overall, the stay was fine for our one night and would probably stay there again if we were in the Cartersville, GA, area.
