“Good location & price for skiing”
Short walk to the gondola ideal for skiing also free self parking. Rooms were comfortable and clean, we were in the Mountain Tower in a smoking room and it was not at all shabby. Didn't get woken up by rowdy young skiers having parties in their room like we have in some North American resorts. We did eat from the Deli, 24/7 American Bar and Buffet in Harrahs which we were all good food places. A good enjoyable experience. Would recommend to anyone.
“Great place to Stay”
Room was really spacious and comfortable Hotel had great facilities and a good casino A tunnel leads directly from Harveys to Harrahs without having to go outside so you have two hotels in one really Definitely would stay again
“Slots and slots of Snow”
Staying in a casino if you are not interested in gambling is a not such a good idea as the whole experience is aimed at getting you to take part in the varied punting opportunities. We went to tahoe to ski but we quite enjoy wasting the odd dollar in pursuit of a fortune. The rooms are more like business hotel rooms than those you normally get on a ski holiday - very comfortable if bland. The trailer trash, yes this is more Roseanne than James Bond as casinos go, turn up at the weekend so don't expect a quiet night on Friday or Saturday.
“Good Location, Convenient for Skiers, Good Staff”
Tahoe class of room didn't have the views that were orginally promised as advertised. Moved rooms and it improved, as did the quality of the room. Watch out for the the non-renevated floors, important you stay within 5-9 I believe it was, otherwise you could end up with a poor state of a room. All in all, it was good value for the money and the staff was very accomodating, from the front desk to the bell staff. Watch out for the gym fees, you can go across the street and use the Harrah's gym and swim for free. If you want a good dinner with a great view, hop over to Harrah's and either go to the steak house or the buffet on the top floor, the buffet was excellent and reasonably priced. The walk over to the gondola was quick and easy for skiing as well. I would recommend trying ski butlers as well if you don't want to drag your skiis on the plane, they were an awesome addition to the experience with the hotel and Lake Tahoe.
