“Uneven hotel in a good location”
The price was right for this hotel, but it is in need of renovation. There were some stains in carpets and on furniture, but it was comfortable and the price included free wifi and a continental breakfast. The amenities were surprisingly good, with free toothpaste and a nice razor included in the basket with the usual shampoo and hand lotion.
“Not bad at all”
Very easy to spot, close to I80 and to shopping & gambling areas. They had the cheapest rates of all hotels and with fridge and microwave oven. Only negative point would be that the room didn't have a coffee machine and the guy at the reception said he could get me one. But later on when I checked in and asked for the machine he said he was not able to. Well it's only 25$, a simple coffee machine.
“Convenient location, Great Staff”
Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Furnishings old & dated but everything worked as it was supposed to. Room had all the amenities we needed and more. Housekeeping won't win any awards (large carpet stains, some hairs in the bathroom) but cleanliness was acceptable otherwise. The room had 2 queen beds but only one washcloth, one handtowel & two bathtowels at check in-had to ask the front desk for more of each-not a big deal, I guess. Breakfast was okay-yogurt, cereal, english muffins, coffee, tea, orange juice. Walking distance to downtown, shopping, dining, sightseeing and a nice park to run the dog. We will stay again the next time visit the area.
“Not impressed”
Bed was uncomfortable and linens very old. Carpet dirty and air condition very noisy!!
“Great Clean Place Close to Tahoe”
This is a great alternative to staying right on Lake Tahoe. Nevada is a diverse state and this a great place to get a nice taste of what there is to offer. There are plenty of good restaurants close by. A few blocks away is a park with a very child friendly skate park. The one draw back to the hotel is that they do not have a swimming pool as is advertised on Expedia's site. Apparently, they sold a piece of property that contained a pool but have not informed Expedia of the change. When it is over 100 Fahrenheit, it is disappointing to not have a place for kids to cool off. Otherwise, I strongly recommend the place. The rooms are quite large, have a lot of cable channels and the airco works great.
“Great location! Great value!”
I appreciated the friendliness of the front desk staff! The rooms are quite large. Even the basic rooms include a table with two chairs, a mini-fridge and a microwave. My only complaint is that the carpeting and the two chairs have permanent stains from use and need to be replaced. The maids do a great job though, the room was as clean as they could make it and smelled fresh. I would definitely stay here again!
“"every impressed"”
I was very pleased with how every thing went so smoothly. The staff was very pleasent and curtious. The room was pleasing and clean. I wouldn't have and problem staying at this hotel at any time.
“Will stay there next time again”
I was looking for a place to stay with my boss in from Las Vegas, we had some work to do and they had a nice sized table in the room for us to discuss all the details about the following days rally. There was a refridgerator and microwave we were able to spend the evening in the hotel and not have to leave, we had a great time and will stay there next time she is in town. Thanks you guys were great and very nice staff.
“Plaza Hotel, Carson City, NV”
I really like this hotel as a working location when I am on the road. They provide free wireless internet. It is quiet in inside the hotel. The staff is friendly and helpful. It has an elevator. It is always clean. I think the rooms are spacious. It feels safe, and it is a simple place to stay, priced right, and there are historical areas nearby to walk in the morning.
“Friendly Staff”
I was impressed by the friendliness of the staff. We were just sad that there was no pool. Also, the choices in the continental breakfast were limited, but at least they had one.
