“Convenient Stay in Carrollton”

I was pleased with the services at this Holiday Inn. The rooms are large and quiet - no road noise at night. The pool is large and clean. The hotel has plenty of free parking as well. My only complaints are that I could smell smoke near the elevator on the 3rd floor (I believe all rooms are non-smoking) and the alarm clock didn't work correctly. Located just off the highway, and 3 minutes from downtown Carrollton.

“Comfortable Clean and Quiet”

We were very pleased with our stay at this Holiday Inn Express. Check in and check out were simple and they even had our room ready for us 3 hours early! The bed was clean and comfortable and the room was a generous size. The microwave and refrigerator were an added bonus. The bathroom was clean and very well supplied. There was no noise to disturb us. Concerning breakfast, there were lots of bisquits but no gravy. Food items were effeciently replaced as each ran out and the lady in charge frequently checked supplies and restocked as needed. The evening cookies were delicious, but quickly disappeared. When travelling, I always look for a Holiday Inn Express because I know we will never be disappointed.

Area recommendations

There was a Mexican restaurant just up the road which served overly generous meals. I had enough leftovers for lunch the next day.

When to go

Our trip was in the fall at peak color time. The trees were beautiful and there were lots of country roads to drive on to enjoy them.

“wow!”

Hotel staff was exceptional. Explained about all the extra features. We needed help getting around some construction on 71 and the hotel staff helped us and even printed out directions. The breakfast is amazing. We had a small refrigerator and a microwave in our room. That was a really nice extra feature. The pool was clean and pool towels were provided. The parking is right outside the front door. Ice machines and snack machines were easy to find. If you want fast food there are many places withing walking distance. Don't miss the little outlet mall just down the street. We got some really good bargains. Will definitely go back to this hotel next time we are in Kentucky.

Area recommendations

Don't miss the outlet mall. It is small but really has some good bargains. Wal Mart is really close and you always need something from Wal Mart.

“Will stay there again for sure”

Great Hotel one of the best in the area if not the best. We had great service, and a great stay.
