We love staying in hotels that are unique and not part of a large chain, one's with personality and history. The Quebecs fit the bill exactly. Hotel and staff lived up to the reviews given by others. Very classy, personable staff that were friendly and helpful which was first exhibited by a young lady on her way into the building when we arrived, offered to help and then lugged my heavy piece of luggage up the stairs with a smile. Whenever we asked for recommendations, advice, or help with something, they gladly assisted us. Our suite, which we took on the advice of other Expedia travellers, was spacious and very comfortable.
The hotel was within walking distance from the train station, taxis were responsive when called for by hotel staff, and getting around Leeds from the hotel was very easy.
I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. I was travelling on business and can't fault this hotel, it was clean and the staff were welcoming and friendly. Very handy for the station too. I would highly recommend it to anyone.
Only downsides of the stay really was the fact that I'd booked with Expedia for £xx for the night, and Expedia then told hotel it was £15 more. Fortunately I had my booking details with me stating the original quote and the hotel resolved it, but I'm not v happy with Expedia.
We had a great time and want to highly commend the hotel on the friendliness of service. In particular Adam from the restaurant who made sure we were made to feel welcome, have a lovely meal and wen the extra mile to make sure we remembered Leeds and the hotel, fondly
